Just watched skinners last video of his package trip on your boat. Hunter was on fire .. great trip. My brother got his personal best 8.1lb on the helen H july 27th - 28th 2 day trip this summer. Delicious! ... My brother tom has been a fan of you for years, we are from Cape May. He fishes with Capt. Tom Daffin sometimes. He does the fishing, i am the cook. Haha! Cheers John!

My. Favorite boat! I’m 90 minutes from Chesapeake. And 3 hrs from the ocean. I agree $20,000 is reasonable. Have fun on the farm!

I think that with a Grady White like this, you're going to be more than happy with the ride, lay out, and fishing amenities. As far as the price, you can always come down, but you can't go up. If you can reassure the next owner on how well you've maintained your engine / boat, it's going to go a long way with not only selling the boat but keeping the price higher. When pricing anything, you have to be realistic to the other boats for sale on the market, as well as the demand for it. As a yute (sorry youth), my father and I went looking and shopping for a number of used Boston Whalers back in the day, whose owners weren't realistic to the condition of the boat that they were selling vs. the price they wanted and expected, to which my father would proclaim, "If you think that you've got gold, then you're going to live with it". Being a buyer of a used boat, you want to have confidence that the prior owner knew how to maintain a boat. Anyone can just use up the life of it and then decide to pass the list of growing problems onto another owner from years of neglect. Our family has personally had two prior boat owners try to pass a bad engine off onto the next owner, in fact the one boat that we were looking at had such a pristine engine, yet it blew on the test drive. I'm sure that's not the case with this boat, but when an owner can speak to properly maintaining a boat and back it up with receipts, it eases one's mind and that's key in my book. I don't think that $20k is unreasonable considering the make & model of the boat, along with the Yamaha outboard brand, number of hours, and the low mileage trailer. I wish him good luck on the sale of his boat and new life endeavor!

Just paid $14.7k on a super clean 94 Escape 209. Has the HPDI Yamaha with 340 hours on it but the trailer is ~2005 and I don't have the hard top or RADAR. Give or take $20k is the right ballpark.

I just bought a 1998 hydra sport with a 175 2 stroke that runs perfect. Boat is pristine and had titles for boat and trailer for 5k. It's a 98 and a 2 stroke. None of anything else matters. No more then 10 and that's a stretch. It's not what you want it to be worth. You'll never sell it at 20. Maybe if it was a new ish 4 stroke you'd get 20

$20k a bit high, probably 15-17k. Boats this old are impossible to get a loan for, so cash buyers have power to negotiate. New buyer can put $5k in new electronics and have a great rig for inshore fishing

Definitely getting more crowded but still a ton of farmland and vineyards and any developments I believe need to be broken out in 2 acre lots. Southold Town and the Peconic Land Trust have been great too about buying and preserving land. I'm very lucky that the lot of land bordering my home was bought by Southold about 30 years ago and will (hopefully) remain preserved woodlands for generations to come
