    I had this same bike and learned to ride the streets back in 1986. It barely made 55 mph on the highway.

    My first street bike, bought used from Yamaha Dade Junior in Miami Florida 1972, raced a Honda 100 single cylinder 4cycle I won

    My neighbor had one. I rode the bigger 100cc Twin Jet Electra (very similar, but older).

    Wrong info. It was built more that 2 years. I had a 69 not a 70.I have seen some a couple years earlier.

    It is not a 1971 HS1B ..... it is a 1970 HS1 ....1970 HS1 had knee pads on fuel tank .....1971 HS1B did not have knee pads. I have both bikes and sales brochures for both.

    what a nice smooth idle.........like it's fuel injected.
