Hey What The Phò, we've arrived home from our 22 days in Vietnam. It was an amazing trip! Food, culture, architecture, and the people! We visited The Rabbit Hole in District 1, cocktail bar. It was just like you mentioned a welcomed quiet escape after a busy day in Saigon

I haven't been to VN but looking from the outisde VN seems like Microsoft Windows before they boomed in the 90s.

@@WhatThePho Ở Hà Nội thì là GC bar ở số 5 Ngọc Khánh. Tối thứ 7 là rất đông. Ở đó có thể phỏng vấn vài bạn dám lên hình =)).

I found one of these in Hanoi. I was walking and noticed a tiny shop with three walls of books, an open sign and nobody serving. I went in out of curiosity, and somehow managed to open a door which led upstairs to a speakeasy. I was so proud of myself for realising the shop was something out of the ordinary and finding something that I didnt know existed in Vietnam.
While watching,I find the liquors,wines very complicated.Well ,I really don't have any idea about bar hopping and drinking that is why hehehe

Hello! I came upon your TH-cam videos because I'm interested in a girl who is Vietnamese. We have had some small talk everyday on the bus. I was curious to know. I like your guides, but there is 1 important thing missing to make it a good guide - price range, this bar looks fancy and some people travel on a budget, better to know what to expect before going there

I love bars that still serves traditional local dishes with a hint of twist, not overly fancy but you still get to recognize what you are eating and not some confusing fusion menu items.

What's the price of the drink & food dish? I heard some thing in range of hundred dollar for coverage charge and 1 drink.
The price range here is $5-$10 so I think it's very affordable

You are shining so bright in this video Van Vu, wow! About speakeasy bars... I didn't understand one thing... were the speakeasy bars completely hidden or just the alcohol was hidden but (because of prohibition) people were not supposed to loudly order alcoholic drinks in those bars???

This video is useful to a certain extent, however, this kind of content is not my favorite even i am a big fan of Van, please come back with other content such as culture, tourism, food ( traditional food), Vietnam's unwritten rules, don't blend you with other vloggers. Somethings with more Vietnam style is more appreciated than a Hongkong style bar, actually, I am also a big of Hongkong movie and I will come to this one day to try something new.

I haven't found any bars in Hanoi that are similar to this one, but I will update you guys if I find one!

I am from India I m travelling to Ho Chi Minh City first time in 27 Dec for 2 days 27 - 30 and I wanted to travel using debit card but I have Paytm VISA card (I don't want to use cash) ? will RuPay card (international card but Indian gateway) work in Vietnam as I wanted to enjoy Saigon only for 2 days

You may still want to withdraw some cash for small purchases and street vendors in case you need it. Hope this helps!
@@WhatThePho I read well unfortunately Vietnam is not list as Rupay becomes global and lists Malaysia, Europe etc. so VISA will be better until Indian government implements RuPay in Vietnam as is it possible to travel only Saigon using VISA card but I enjoyed your videos
@@WhatThePho also i can't say as i have 2 cards one is PayTM international card having VISA but anther card is SBI having RuPay but its global i know Paytm will work but i have doubt for Rupay
