I've always preferred a band that focuses on skill, like this band. They can play loud, but they can also play pretty and soft chords. I am aware that the average HBCU band sacrifices quality for volume But this it pretty damn good
i have no clue but it feels like they should just be playing trombones if that's the sound they're going for. euphonium should be used for it's dark and rich tone that blends well with brass, if you're going to emulate another instrument on it, just use that instrument
its nice to see so many baritones in one place in my schools marching/pep band I am the only one
Haha lol Im only in high school and we have more than them but I feel bad for u can't run any fanfares
same
Jailen Holman Right. Small dreams at this school.

This isn't enough for football games, but will be perfect for concerts, pep band events, section battles💪🏼💪🏼🎵🎼🎺🎷🎶
Well....yea....it's a fanfare for a section battle 💁🏾
@@TooSaxy_4ya outside the stands
@@yourmedicalupdatepodcast7256 duh
It kinda is enough because it's only 4 of us euphonium/baritone in my section and we still be playing at the football games powerful and Clean

My boy in the blue went Dizzy Gillespie on him, Wow; good job brother, you have too respect the technic, I’m a Bone Dog, for life.
Yeah they not playing especially boy in blue he got that smoke for real
All you hear is me laughing at 1:58
Idk if it's the quality of the vid but some of the euphos kinda have a bit of an airy tone. Still cold asl tho especially the 2 soloist 👀👀
I need to know the name of that fanfare please I really like that.
it's called Renegade
+RJRDEMONS do you know where i can find the music sheet for the euphoniums.
+Keshawn French No I don't actually.
+RJRDEMONS you know the artist of the song
+Keshawn French Sorry no I don't
What is the name for the second fanfare
How do you get a trombone-like tone on a euphonium?
i have no clue but it feels like they should just be playing trombones if that's the sound they're going for. euphonium should be used for it's dark and rich tone that blends well with brass, if you're going to emulate another instrument on it, just use that instrument
don't get me wrong, great players, just really weird use of euphonium
You blow your chops out.
You shouldn't. You can get a similar brassy tone to a trombone on a baritone
It’s just the type of style they play. It’s common in HBCU’s
why every video of a section in high school and stuff they always playing super high notes?
David Gomes sir what???? Reword your question.
RJRDEMONS ok in videos like these the euphoniums/baritones, tubas trombones always play really high
David Gomes yea ok.....so do all other brass sections
RJRDEMONS gee thanks that was helpful
David Gomes i mean it's just to show off range of the section
Does anyone know the notes for the second fanfare??
Mage Gaming look it up on muscore it's called 13 notes by someone named cash m0ney
@1:38 lol AEA

If you can control your tone it's okay

Why does it sound like a trombone
Similar mouthpiece?
@@Kilo-sz4ch I think it's a baritone not a eupho
