The panel of judges saw the worth of their concept despite some mistakes in the middle of the performance, which was, by way, handled very well. It would take another year or two before we witness a Broadway-inspired, almost-Vaudeville-type performance like this. Such a shame Vox Populi was wrong this time. I have heard a lot of bashing against Carcar City performers for PSS and Sinulog. Most of them were based on false accusations and ill-willed theories. The re-calibrated results might have made the naysayers happy but they can't deny Carcar City choreographers and performers are miles away in terms of caliber, finesse, and grace; not to mention their ability to pull off very intricate yet relevant concepts. In short, we are still dreaming what they've already done and still doing. P.S. A few Kabkaban dancers joined a dance challenge of a festival. The festival suits them really well.

Ang ka-graceful sa mga dancer, ang kaenggrande sa concept, ahhh Carcar gyod. Og huboan ta ni tanang contenders sa props, special effects, lightings ug i-judge lang ang ka-raw sa performance, execution, concept, plus jolly, perfect jingle, aw, papha gyod silang tanan sa Carcar. Haha!
This would be a great learning experience sa Carcar. Ilahang sayaw can stand alone even if you strip them with props & lights. Mao ang core sa ilang performance. So, sa other aspects na sila mag need ug improve. Mas better to train the dancers ug propsmen nga bisan asa ibutang, ma naay blocking or wala, molahutay ug dili mayabo. Another thing is to have a props director. Backdrops nga 'enough' dili haw-ang ug dili overbearing enough jud to cover the black part ubos sa LED just to have the continuity. If gusto ug head2head lights designer with just the 'right' amount of lights not to the point nga nilabaw nas dagitab or bailes de luces. Just right nga mo complement sa performance. Unreachable nagyud siguro. Two cents. Looking forward na next Pasigarbo performance. Lahi raba nig revenge performance ang carcar. Maninuod.

The rehearsal performance alone already showed why Kabkaban was the rightful winner.
