Old slurp on kill - 25 health and shield over time. Keeps aggressiveness down since you have to wait, but still rewards kills. Full health players only get 25 shield.
50 of each material over time, but directly to inventory, like in the Lava LTM.
This way, getting 2 kills off the start doesn’t give someone a giant advantage of 100 instant shield. Also, bandages are somewhat useful again and not competent irrelevant.

Yo Nick, I respect your opinion on the health per kill, but I see why Epic did it. The simple fact of every game ever made is that there are more casual players than 'hardcore' players or 'pros' like you. There are probably more people happy with the new update than you think ( Yes, it sounds weird ). Majority of people just play with their friends for a few hours, then log off. I myself don't like the update, but I see why Epic did it. Love all your vids !
The people that love it think it’ll help them, but it actually makes it harder for them to get better. Spend the whole game farming you’ll be real good at that, but nothing else

Just cause we didn't have it then doesn't mean we shouldn't now. And they reduced the amount of shields in a game so no, no shield or health per kill is by far the stupidest shit I've ever seen. I literally killed 7 people in Salty and still had 0 fucking health and died too a dude who was fully healthy.... And he was ass as fuck! That's not proper gaming at all

Instead of getting rid of shield per kill, 500 mat cap and 40% farm rate increase why not just change it to 25 health/shield, 750 mat cap and 20% mat farm rate increase? I think it's a fair middle ground.

I'm not that great of a player AT ALL... and I hated it at first... but then I realized how many situations I would normally get into where even though I won a fight, I would die because some guy would third-party me and I didn't even have time to shield up. Once, I killed THREE of the last four players... killed all three, but got down to 50 shield... and some guy who was hiding in bushes THE ENTIRE FREAKIN' GAME just slid down the hill and shot through with a P-90.

@@KLKJX it really depends on the time and region. I work from home so some days I can play a couple of games and hour, I'm home all day. And there some times where I choke. And others where I'm just like wtf dude this isn't a scrim. My IQ has jumped stupid high since watching pros but even then it's luck of the draw

I get people want and liked the health on kill, but it kills me that everyone talks about how trash pubs fortnite is now, when it is the same Fortnite everyone loved for 7 seasons this way. Streamers promoted the hell out of a game they now claim is trash this way. So I guess Fortnite has always been trash idk. Even Nick said people actually log on everyday to play this "pubs". But he logged on for 7 seasons to play these pubs exactly as they are now lol. I get that its hard to go back once you found a way thats better, but we either need to stop trashing the game as it is now, or admit that the game just wasn't good to begin with.

I was loving the game but now that the 50 shield per kill is gone theres no point in playing its third party after third party i killed 5 people who continuously third partied me until the 6th killed me and had 1 kill i was on 2 bloody hp i just dont see the point in playing anymore
