Reality is sports is uncertain that's why most of middle class parents do not allow their child to persue sports as career... एक DAV के student होने के नाते कह सकता हूं, हर हफ्ते में एक period games के होते थें, इतने कम periods होने के बावजूद पूरे साल के 50 % classes किसी बहाने से टाल दिए जाते थे। उससे भी बड़ी बात, school का Coach और Principal दोनो मोटे - मोटे।
10 yeay mega plan in my opinion 1. Start any Olympic sport traning of every child in between age of 5 to 10 2. Before age of 15 he will become expert of his game ( 5 year traning is enough to become expert ) 3 now at this moment this expert child can switch in any other sport if he want bcoz he is physically strong and deciplined. Or he can continue in his game . Of he can quit his sport as fit and strong child.
This is mainly because in schools the government doesn't promote sports the way they should. Even when I was a kid(not too long ago), participating in a sports competition or practicing for the same was seen as a job of non-scholar students or back benchers. It was said that those who are weak at studying or those who don't want to study go and play sports just so that they can give excuses for not studying. This mindset is what is stopping Indians from achieving success at the Olympics. This mindset is mainly because india doesn't treat their own sports champion well. There are many such incidents where a sportsman once a national champion in a particular sport would be working as a watchman or some small underpaid job once he gets old and couldn't participate in sports. This fear is stopping many Indian parents from taking initiative in letting their kids make a profession in sports. Not to mention corruption in sports is also one of the major problems. Only an honest government who can build good schools and make all the students available with the sports resources can make future gold medalists.

No gold is not an issue.We are getting medals.Issue is why not many medals in Boxing Wrestling Weightlifting and Badminton inspite of having many world class players.Shooting Archery and Table Tennis exceeded expectations.
Fact is our players are unable to handle pressure when it comes to Olympic games . They get nervous . Look at our Paralympic players they are doing wonders . Facing their opponent with sheer confidence and determination . Our Olympic players need to learn from Paralympic players .
If we have to work for Olympics we have to built sports infrastructure in every sports events in every district states when should be included in the school curriculum also.

इसमें सुधार करे तो अच्छा नतीजा सबके सामने आ सकता है। १. जो खेल मंत्रालय से मान्यता प्राप्त खेल संघ है उसमे अनेक फेडरेशन की जो मनमानी चल रही है इसको रोकना पड़ेगा। २. ग्रामीण स्तर तक खेल खेलों का महत्व उसके फायदे पहुंचाने पड़ेंगे खेल संघ के माध्यम से, खेल के प्रति जागरूकता, खेल अभियान, खेल कैरियर का विज्ञापन आदि के माध्यम से। 3. यह जो राष्ट्रीय खेल संघों में विवाद चल रहे हैं, एक ही नाम के २_३ फेडरेशन बन रही है इसको भी रोकना पड़ेगा ताकि खिलाड़ी भ्रमित ना हो सके। 4. खिलाड़ियों के लिए नि:शुल्क उपकरण उपलब्ध कराना और उचित बुनियादी ढांचा ग्रामीण स्तर से उपल्ब्ध करके अच्छी सुविधा प्रदान करना। ऐसे एवम् बहुत गंभीर मुद्दे भी है इनके ऊपर अगर सही समय से उत्कृष्ट स्तर का काम किया जायेगा तो भविष्य में भारत देश ओलंपिक्स जैसे खेलों में ज्यादा पदक ला सकता है।

Media, Government of India, Coach All three must bring out (or discuss) strength and weakness of players on a regular basis (3 monthly). GOI must insure financial stability of all national players and coach. WE SHOULD FIRST INVEST IN PLAYERS AND THEN EXPECT RETURN ON INVESTMENT & NOT VICE VERSA.

Reality is sports is uncertain that's why most of middle class parents do not allow their child to persue sports as career... If govt can assure job settlement of sportsman then sports will definitely rise and we can bring more medals. Need more promotion of sports at school and college level.

एक DAV के student होने के नाते कह सकता हूं, हर हफ्ते में एक period games के होते थें, इतने कम periods होने के बावजूद पूरे साल के 50 % classes किसी बहाने से टाल दिए जाते थे।
उससे भी बड़ी बात, school का Coach और Principal दोनो मोटे - मोटे।

10 yeay mega plan in my opinion
1. Start any Olympic sport traning of every child in between age of 5 to 10
2. Before age of 15 he will become expert of his game ( 5 year traning is enough to become expert )
3 now at this moment this expert child can switch in any other sport if he want bcoz he is physically strong and deciplined. Or he can continue in his game . Of he can quit his sport as fit and strong child.

This is mainly because in schools the government doesn't promote sports the way they should.
Even when I was a kid(not too long ago), participating in a sports competition or practicing for the same was seen as a job of non-scholar students or back benchers. It was said that those who are weak at studying or those who don't want to study go and play sports just so that they can give excuses for not studying.
This mindset is what is stopping Indians from achieving success at the Olympics.
This mindset is mainly because india doesn't treat their own sports champion well. There are many such incidents where a sportsman once a national champion in a particular sport would be working as a watchman or some small underpaid job once he gets old and couldn't participate in sports.
This fear is stopping many Indian parents from taking initiative in letting their kids make a profession in sports.
Not to mention corruption in sports is also one of the major problems.
Only an honest government who can build good schools and make all the students available with the sports resources can make future gold medalists.

3. यह जो राष्ट्रीय खेल संघों में विवाद चल रहे हैं, एक ही नाम के २_३ फेडरेशन बन रही है इसको भी रोकना पड़ेगा ताकि खिलाड़ी भ्रमित ना हो सके।
4. खिलाड़ियों के लिए नि:शुल्क उपकरण उपलब्ध कराना और उचित बुनियादी ढांचा ग्रामीण स्तर से उपल्ब्ध करके अच्छी सुविधा प्रदान करना।
