I am learning Arabic myself through You Tube - Madina Book and I love it. I have a doubt. The word(s) انهن is feminine plural so why the word صغار is used which is plural. Is it an exception or there any specific rule/reason. Is not the word صغار should have been the feminine version صغارة.
Dear brother raman. I am very pleased you are learning Arabic and finding the classes useful. The reason why صغار is used is because it is plural and in plurals it is common for both masculine and feminine.
Thanks for elucidating me. From your answer what I understood is that when Inna is followed by pronouns, be it masculine or feminine the subsequent adjective just needs to be plural irrespective it can be masculine or feminine. Is it so?.
Why does the arrow sound like a fly? Great classes maashaaAllah. Just this lesson, when you move the arrow it buzzes like a fly which makes it slightly annoying but barakallaahufik.

muhammad iqbal Chaudry because I think it is part of the syllabus in Madinah Book 2 and this topic is to emphasis that inna is part of 6 others sisters of inna and kanna is part of another 6 sisters of kana. In sha Allah you will soon see the logic as you progress with the book.

If Laisaa and kanaa are not harf e touqeed then why are they with inna, why they are studied in this section?

Do you recommend going through this "simplified" series? I see it is "only" 28 hours while the other one with teacher Asif is 65 hours (for Book 2).
