I used this book to effectively cure my anxiety. For about a year I had pretty bad anxiety and would often have weeks of panic attacks almost every month. After reading this book, which was about a year and 7 months ago, I haven't had a panic attack since. I'm back just because I was curious if anyone had any similar results and I'm not surprised to find people have done similar things. Good luck to anyone reading this book, I couldn't recommend it enough 👍

Dr. Joe’s teachings have had a very positive effect on my anxiety. I had constant anxiety from complex trauma, and now my life is much calmer and more peaceful. I closed the door to my past and turned it into wisdom, and live my life in the generous present moment where all possibilities exist in the quantum. ❤

How long is the meditation? He has a Morning & Evening one where each is about 20 minutes long. Maybe start with a shorter one and build your way up? I've also heard other folks who meditate say they sit up or make themselves slightly uncomfortable so they stay awake during the meditations. Ooh, or mentally rehearse staying awake for a whole meditation and see if you can mentally train to stay awake? Or perhaps change up the meditations if you've been doing the same one? You're not alone! A lot of people experience the challenge of falling asleep during meditation, but you'll get there and will be able to stay awake!

Praise for your video. I agree with everything, but I have a personal anecdote. To become yourself, you must allow yourself to sit with yourself and think. No consumption, no intake of information. Maybe it’s the phase I am in in my stage of being but I’ve significantly cut back on consuming content of all kinds. I’ve been picky with the type of media I consume nowadays. Because these are all exchanges of stories. Stories we tell ourselves, stories other people tell about themselves, and stories others tell us about us. So be mindful in this approach and remember to be cautious in what stories you tell yourself, you’re most likely to believe it. I will admit weed helped me in this. I smoke every seven days. It helps identify where I need to redirect myself. Sort of like therapy. I make realizations and put them to the test. Weed is not for everyone of course and am not advocating for it (don’t think I need to say this.) May you all realize your true selves.
