Dracula (RTE 1960s) by Bram Stoker,

Despite its setting, and what many perceive as its 'Englishness', Dracula was the work of an Irishman and is therefore rightfully celebrated as Irish literature. I've got a couple of documentaries on the channel about the Irish influence on the novel, not to mention a reading produced for Irish radio which includes Michael Fassbender in the cast. However, here is a 1960s radio play adaptation of Stoker's novel, made available by RTE.

What a great treat , love the 1990’s radio adaptation also adapted in the 21C version now a 60’s radio version

The original set in the 19th century, Carpathian mountains were very different to the 1960s. This is a bit of a bizarre version . I agree with the comment it is a little bit of carry on horror carry on screaming

Actually Bram Stoker WAS Irish of course. Though what he'd make of this
version I'm not sure. It's more like a rejected script from Carry On Screaming.....!
