Thank you for this upload.... My deceased husband and I used to ride...and this is exactly how it felt with him.... I miss him... I miss the wind in my face, I miss the speed at which we traveled together....and yet... I feel him within me always.... just know... this resonates with me very strongly.... :) I feel this speech within my soul...and it expressed our life together too, in some cosmic way.....
and he used to 'pop it up' with me on the back of his Harley and he'd laugh in ecstasy and I'd hold on for life..... He was definitely an evolved Human Being....
btw.... he crossed over as a result of cancer... not speed.... the speed we shared together was not chemical, was not corporeal...but was spiritual..... and I am a better woman because of his investment in our life

I'm now 15 and have been dreaming of getting a bike for years now. When I turn 16, I can and my parents allow it asswell. But I've been wondering if the danger and fun of riding is actually worth risking my life for. I see news reports of very young people who die in car/motorcycle/plane/train crashes every day. Please ride safe, atleast do it for the people who love you, if you don't value your life that much.
Dude your going to be 16, the thrill you'll get from a 50 is about as much as use to you as a sponge mug. Enjoy the 50 by all means mate, appreciate the freedom privellages on it but please don't be like these kids who go around thinking their Valentino Rossi on a 50

Marnik Jacobss When you ride... You realise it's a collection of small events that add up. Learn to appreciate wearing the right gear well, a good shift, nice smooth braking. Before you know it, you will appreciate everything, get good at it, appreciate being safe ... Speed can be fun, but you can't be fast everywhere. But you have to do everything else, once you can appreciate the tiny details of riding, then you can start to take notice of the things around you .. ;)
We all should ride safe,we share the streets,so we need to look out for each other,im only 14 but i ride a bicycle,and i almost got killed couple of times just cause driver wasn't looking...WATCH OUT AND HAVE MAX FOCUS WHEN YOU ARE ON STREET
Aleksandar Davidovic Mate exactly the same thing happened to me today! Ii was doing about 25 on my push bike, and a wanker pulled out RIGHT into my lane and didn't even get the car fully turned. I had to counter steer the fuck out of there. Had cars been coming the other way I would have been fucked. At least 6 years riding gives you a lot of experience. Ride safe.

This made me cry, it is a beautiful life we have, the passion we have that encourages others and makes us feel as though we are a family, helping one another out. A few years ago, my neighbour had his life taken from him due to someone pulling out on in front. Let alone his youngest son, his wife was with child, twins, whom he never got to meet. I've personally been put through the spells too, last year, someone pulled out in front of me, out of unawareness and stupidity. A year on, and I still continue to ride, because as painful as the memory may be, you are spirited on by fellow riders and the sensation of being on a machine that gives you freedom and exhilaration like no other. It's more than a head nod, a wave or passing gesture, its a sign of pure respect.
Rest In Peace to all those who have lost loved ones or has known of someone passing.Please ride safe, and wear protection, it'll help save your life.

I literally got chills watching this, I crashed at 60mph my bike stalled and fishtailed and I was overwhelmed and fell, my gear saved my life. I am gunna ride again soon before I deploy here in a month. But riding has become such a big thing in my life, I live for it. Its something that If I died as an old man riding...maybe it wouldnt be so bad. But more so I want to tell young folks when Im an old man how fantastic living and riding is. Thank you for sharing this video, it was inspirational really.
Its NOT about speed its about skill,learning,reading the road,talking to other bikers. NOT listening to the idiots who say just go. I have been riding bikes since the seventies and i LOVE it.Go at your OWN pace and ride safe. and enjoy the ride.

I actually got chills watching this. Amazing video.
In reference to Charlie's Speech, good people were once in abundance, but not anymore, they are an endangered species now and fast fading with the setting sun. I fear for those who remain behind, not for the pain they will endure but the regret they will die with. May God have mercy on our souls.

Low sided here in the Malibu Canyons, California. Textile jacket, jeans (shredded) road rash and pile drove my head with helmet into the asphalt and both me and bike went into a shallow ditch.
It's the one day...I didn't wear my leathers...the one day. Bear your best gear...every ride.

Understand that crashes happen- in a car, on a motorcycle, whatever. Understand that having been in a crash shouldn't necessarily discourage you from riding. Some of us aren't happy being cautious. Some of us are only happy when we're free, and out in the open air. Think about the fast and the furious when Dom said, "For those ten seconds or less, I'm free."
You go right ahead and call me cliche, i don't give a fuck, but i do know that quote hit home in millions of people everywhere. "I live my life a quarter mile at a time."

having watched this video so many times I now find myself watching it while sitting on the couch being thankful I am still here. 2 weeks ago on the 18th of May I had a crash, if I didn't try to avoid it I would have died at the scene in front of my best friend, instead I am here with a few broken bones and lots of bruises.
we all know the risk of riding and we all know it's a mater of time for crashing but being able to walk away is something not many of us think about.

This movie was my bible for a long time. I've seen it may one hundred times, especially at the beginning of my motorcycleriding. After some time, time with more luck than judgment, i forgot the movie, the message. I forgot myself. More than 200 km/h on the motorway, streets... without thinking about it. Always fast, always first, always on the limit. The time has come to return to this message... Ride safe guys, someone has given me one more chance. 2 months of healing but good as before :D

I respect my life and others and try to help anyone in need but too many people give up the thrills of living and experiencing things in life for the security of existence. The way i look at it is do as much as you can and whatever you want to when you want and if that act happens to take your life so be it. Don't let others stop you from what you want to do its your life and you should always live the way you want to. =)

You are supposed to "turn" your head away from the turn. That way you are able too see the curve in a more accurate way.
They're keeping their heads level with the ground. It's one of the first things you learn when you take your motorcycle license.
CutthroatBill You can keep your head "level" while positioning it down and towards the curve...I literally have never heard of leaning your head away from the curve out of alignment with your body...lol maybe I'm just crazy
You mean the guy up front right? Looks really unnatural, against the whole "chin over wrist" or "kiss the mirror". The guy in the middle (yellow bike, looks like a GSXR600?), thats how I envision looking through the turn should be like. But it looks like its working for him.
