- I've been hunting an old truck for a while...
But it had to be longbed, a V8, and single cab...
and in this market, finding one for a decent price was next to IMPOSSIBLE!
But.....I LUCKED UP
Found this 1988 Chevrolet 1500 Scottsdale for CHEAP!
It does run, but not well....
SO LET'S FIX IT!

Flatbedding a half ton isn't cool, I'd put the bed back on.👍🙂🇺🇲

My buddies dad had that truck, all maroon with cloth interior and a 5 spd. Nice choice!
Nice truck I have a 94 Silverado myself. I would recommend going through the front end ball joints and tie rods that's one of the weak points on those trucks.

Put the bed back on it looks good on there I like to cook it really looks nice even though it's the ugly to you but you listening to me I'm not a Chevrolet person but still I would drive it
Just got my 87 running on my channel. It needed the same as yours, fuel pump but I had to replace my Tank as well. I do need to do a tune up as well as an Oil Change but was really happy to see it run after sitting for close to 15 years. Enjoyed the video very much. New Sub Here. John

It's your truck so I don't feel as if it's my place to put my input....but I think the factory bed looks good on it but I just prefer keeping things (mostly) stock. Again, ur choice a flatbed would be cool too I just don't think it being a single cab 2wd would fit the "theme"
Besides that tho, awesome obs I got one just like it single cab long bed 2wd and it also has fuel issues
