One of my favorite uses of this is just to use its 12bit converter on drums, with no effects. Super thick and grainy 12 sampler (like SP1200) kinda sound. Love it.

Considering what these go for on Reverb, they're an absolute steal for the spice they can add to a production. Far preferable than the latest neon $600 painted delay pedal with one big knob.

What a great and detailed video. Because of this, I'm picking one up today!

Josef, not sure where you live but we have a MINT SDE-1000, the one used to record all the samples in the video, up for sale right now: reverb.com/au/item/36214890-roland-sde-1000-digital-delay-in-mint-condition

I use 4 SDE 1000 and 1 SDE 2500 for parallel delays for ambient textures... Have loved it since my Dad had bought his 1st unit back in 1985. Something about analog Digital Delay racks that add warmth. Digital modelers just do no cut it.
For a live rig. I run Dry Wet, sounds better than a stereo setup.. Gives a huge mono 3D sound. All delays run full wet and are flowing through one cabinet. My Dry signal is in an adjacent cabinet. HUGE sound.
