    I like the way you present yourself on the camera. You’re jolly and an easy-going person I believe. That’s why JET chose you. I hope I will be chosen also soon haha.

      had the interview, went pretty well i think! (though the more i overthink it, the less confident i feel lol). Now comes the part of nervously checking my emails every day haha
      I applied for early entry (april-july ish) so I'm expecting the results in march 😎

      @@amyinjapan thank you so much!!!! I’m nervous about so many things. Today I was nervous about my outfit lmao, I come from a working class background so I’ve never owned a suit, thinking about wearing a blazer, shirt and tie, and grey pants for my zoom interview. Hoping that works okay

    • @amyinjapan
      @amyinjapan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dremolar4627 it’s definitely normal to be nervous and the panel know that too! You will be fine, please don’t worry ☺️ And that sounds great!! I bet you’ll do amazing and feel confident in a nice suit, even if you’re not used to wearing one! I’m definitely more comfortable in casual clothes and rarely wear dresses, so it was a big deal for me too! 🙏🏻 頑張ろう!

    Hi there Amy! I have a question for you it's related to the interviews, I know that Japan have a low view on tattoos so dose it matter or dose it go against you if have facial piercings and tattoos? I think I know the answer but I would like a bit more insight. 😊😊

  • @jzaman90
    @jzaman90 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Amy, how much time did you put into reviewing for the interview?

    • @amyinjapan
      @amyinjapan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good question!! After writing out my answers to some possible questions, I read my answers a few times each night a week or so before my interview ☺️ I made sure to read my answers aloud so I could memorise it quicker!

    i dont know what to say for america though for what 3 things would you bring...like...wth is uniquely american? everything i own was made in china lol.

    • @amyinjapan
      @amyinjapan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha I’m sure anything you think is ordinary may be something new for Japan! Depending what state you live, you could bring some kind of special food, local handmade art, a sporting item (baseball, basketball, etc.), something from Hollywood, something Disney, etc. I know many Japanese people love Disney! And that is definitely American 😉 Also, just be careful about the wording of the question. If the interviewer asks “what would you bring that represents America?” Try not to respond with “the 3 things I’d bring are…” because they didn’t ask for 3 things specifically 😄 just be vague and say “I’d bring this, this and this”, if that makes sense! Good luck!! 🙏🏻🙇‍♀️
