(Full Length Ride) R68 D train: Coney Island-Stillwell Ave - Norwood-205 Street

This ride was much shorter then I anticipated, it was at least a half hour shorter then I expected it to be, and I got to get out and walk around the area when I was done. Whoo! It was a long journey but it was worth it.
I'm sorry for not being able to show 145th Street, there were bums blocking the doors and It was getting crowded since the train arrived at Columbus Circle soooooo...

This video is so relaxing to me. I took the D train all the time from Harlem when my grandmother was alive. She passed away a few years ago and no longer have family in Harlem or in New York City. I miss riding that train.

The D train replaced the B train for this route, from Atlantic Ave/Pacific Street.

Yup. Was done in early 2004, (forget exact date)after the nearly 20 year rebuilding of the Manhattan Bridge. Was sort of controversial at time as some Brighton riders missed the direct 1 train full time ride to the Upper West Side, Harlem & the Bronx. However Brighton they got more frequent now ":Q" service with several transfers to Bronx trains at Atlantic & also in Mid Manhattan to the "D" and also the #2, #4 and #5 as well.
