2006 yamaha grizzly 660 valve adjustment

Valve adjustment for 2002-2007 yamaha grizzly 660.
Inspection/adjustment for valves should be performed initial 20 hours or 200 miles(320) and every 1500 miles(2400).
This procedure should be performed on cold engine.
Valve clearance (cold) Intake 0.10-0.15 mm (0.004-0.006 in.) Exhaust 0.15-0.20 mm (0.006-0.008in.) this is according to Clymer service, repair and maintenance book.

How do I know if my Grizzly needs the valves adjusted or top end redone? My 02 660 runs fine but does burn some motor oil

Its mainly a routine maintenance. My grizzly burned oil also and it stoped, not sure if its coincidence or it did help, i also add seafoam to oil before changing oil.

Hahaha, its not too bad, but this is something you need to do as a maintenance.
