I love so many of those studio brushes. The angled blush brush, "C" brush, small stippling, flat top powder, flawless concealer, angled contour...love, love, love! I will keep an eye out for that one!
Yes, yes Emily! It was a game-changer for me. Before I started using this brush, I found that I was applying (a) too much highlight and (b) in places that I didn't want to emphasize. Since this brush came into my life, I am glowing in all the right places now...lol. Thanks for another stellar review :). Happy Easter! Hugs, Cyndi
I picked it up a couple of weeks ago! I use it to set my under eyes with Bare Minerals Well Rested mixed with ELF Under Eye Setting Powder (trust me, this combo is AMAZING!!). I just press it in and sweep lightly. Its perfect!
I use this brush for almost everything; blush, contour, setting powder all over, highlight...and it's really soft. I'm glad it gets the Emily approval!
i bought the ELF Small Stipple Brush because of you & i'm in love with it ! you never steer me wrong , so i can't wait to try this ! thanks , emily ! 😊
I've have used this brush for years and LOVE it still to this day! I use it solely for contouring and it is PERFECT for it. The pointed tip is fantastic for chiseling out the hollows of my cheeks and contouring down the sides of my nose. Then I'll flip it on its side (the side part of the bristles that are more flat) and contour my temples and at the the top of my head (around the hair line). Afterward I then proceed to blend everything out when a bigger, fluffier brush. This is my DAILY contour routine. Absolutely love, love, love this brush!
Yes! Yes! I love this brush too. I listened to you a while back regarding the Elf Flat Top Powder Brush for foundation. It's not as good as my Sigma F80 or my IT cosmetics Flat Top brush...but I do use it and think it does a great job. I have bought it for others that never applied their foundation with a brush before. It's a game changer that's for sure. Oh and I bought the Elf stipple brushes too because of your suggestion and love both of those. The larger I use for blush and the small one I use for highlighter. They put on just the right amount of blush and highlight for my fair skin. Thanks for always giving great advice on both high end and inexpensive items.
I love love love this brush for contouring. I'm very fair and the tapered end of this brush allows me to avoid picking up too much color and overdoing my contour. I never thought to use this for my highlighter though. Thanks again for a great review & advise! I consult your videos now before I make any beauty purchases because of how thorough you are. Much appreciated!!
I love the elf small stipple brush you have mentioned and I got two, one for back up lol. now I want this one too, looks like something I would use often.
Finally! I knew when u found this gem u would love it. When I used this I bought a BUNCH more. I use it for highlight, blush, contour. Havnt tried it for setting but I just might. Gotta give it up for elf
Rematching this video, Emily stay amazing! Seriously, I watch a ton of beauty bloggers and honestly you're one of the few that has stayed true to herself and you really display that by allowing a wide audience with your drugstore videos. I really appreciate it
Definitely going to look for this brush. Emily, you really got me to try e.l.f.and I've found many things I really like! Thanks for all your reviews. Very helpful
I picked this up at the Dollar Store and it's been one of my best buys from there by FAR! I use it for setting my under eye and highlight - I LOVE it!👍🏽
loved this review! i bought this brush from the e.l.f. website and had no clue what to use it for but you have def. convinced me what to use it for!! thanks
I am brand new to the highlight world and this morning watched a lot of your videos before ordering my first highlighter, and i just ordered this brush too, thanks so much for your great videos and honest reviews. They are so helpful!
I love that brush! i used it for my highlight as well. but contouring is a good idea too, I will have to try that. I love ELF as a whole brand and there aren't many things in the line that I don't like!
Omg thank you for this review!!! I have been needing a affordable priced tapered brush and now I could get one and the best part knowing it is a good product!
ooo I am going to pick one of these up!! have you ever tried mink/velour lashes?? I am thinking about investing in some but wanted to hear an opinion I trust before I do! You have the best, most honest reviews!
I got the small stipple brush and oh my gosh, it has helped with my cream blush so much! They were just sitting there in my drawer, hardly touched because I didn't like how they applied so sheer then disappeared with everything else (fingers, smaller synthetic brushes, etc). THANK YOU! I have to try this brush now as well, but didn't see it at Target.
This is my go to contouring brush. Fits perfectly in the hollows of my cheeks and is nice and soft for blending out. I use it almost every single day. It's fantastic!
I have three of the same Elf powder brushes (flat top kabuki type style) it applies powder very evenly and I also use it to contour my cheeks, apply blush, and contour my nose. Highly recommend the black studio brushes! I even have a few blush brushes as well!
Totally agree!! That brush is one of my favs! I own sigma, mac, sedona lace, and it. It washes well holds shape well! Same as you I use for under eye setting, highlighting, and I use the tip to bronze my nose! I even mentioned it in my march favorites! Check it out if you get time! :)
I adore this brush! I use it to set my undereyes and highlight too! I'm so glad you did this because more people need to know about this. Home run Emily! Hope you are feeling well. Looking great :) xo Linda
I love that you talk about affordable products as well as high-end because in reality its more convenient for me to pick this up (if its at target) than having to drive out to Ulta or Sephora to get the higher end one.
Totally agree with your entire review!!! I have two of these (they are at my Target) and I use one for bronzer and one for highlighter. Great brush! I use mine every day!
Have it, love it... for the very reasons you shared. I got mine either at Target or our regional super market, HyVee (who has a well stocked spin rack devoted to ELF.)
Thanks! I'm going to target in the morning! Woot! I do have question.. Is there a line of makeup you miss or product? I miss Max Factor, the 2,000 calories mascara was good & I loved a lipstick in Rosewood.
Looks almost exactly like a Wayne Goss brush in the first set, which is a favorite brush of mine. I'd be curious to see how they compare, I'd imagine, not as soft or high quality, but for the price, I bet it's a winner. I think I'll pick one of these up and see!
well, look at you, ms. emily, rockin' that adorable maternity top!! hehe. congrats to you and tyler!! i have a question about this brush. how does it compare to the studio blush brush that's included in the 11-piece set? coz that one is also slightly tapered at the top. is the one that you reviewed any denser?
Omg I love this brush Emily! I found it at my local Marshall's for $2.49 & the size & shape is perfect, I use it mostly for setting the under eye also & agreed it is very soft. I have been looking in Target & I have not seen it in the line there. Take care😘
I bought this brush at Walmart! I actually really like to use it for my extremely bright and pigmented blushes too. It doesn't pick up too much product and then I get to place the blush exactly where I want it. Love this brush!
I bought this at Target about a week ago and I've been LOVING it!! I use it with my benefit porefessional powder to set my under eyes, nose, & and a bit of my forehead. :)
The size and taper vary on them too..lol not by enough to matter, but it does. That would be the low budget part of a great brush..lol andof COURSE, another fantastic review Em! You're so eloquent with this!
This is my favorite brush to contour with. I use it everyday and it works amazing. I have 4 of them. No shedding, and they still as soft as the day I got them almost a year ago
I really like the studio blush brush for the same uses. It's about the same shape but a little flatter. It's sold in my walmart so it's a little easier to get my hands on. Perfect size for contouring!
I love this brush. If anyone uses bare minerals' well rested or any of the powder concealers like bisque, this is PERFECT for that. Fits nicely in the lid too.
I love the Studio brushes. Haven't noticed much fallout and I haven't gotten any defective brushes that some people say they received. I usually wash them with lever 2000 soap then tie a bunch of them together at the handle with a hair tie, and dry them face down on a towel. I think if you dry them with the hair part up they fall apart because the glue loosens.
I need that brush. I love Elf brushes!!! I got the small stipple brush a after you talked about it and I like it ( but I don't tend to use cream products). By the way, I absolutely love your eye makeup in this video. I'd LOVE to see a tutorial on it. :-) love you bad your videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was ordering a couple things from elf that wasn't in stores and I figured I would just get this brush and at first I was unimpressed because it is so similar to the blush brush but since I've started using it how you suggested I've totally fallen in love with it
How funny, I just bought one of these today just for highlighting. I am actually excited to use it! Only us makeup lovers could be excited by a brush! I definitely need another one for setting under my eyes. I am using a giant tapered brush currently and well it sucks! And it was expensive. Yay ELF brushes.
I've had my eye on this brush for quite some time--really wish Target had a bigger elf selection! Will definitely grab it next time I order from the website :)
Yes, I love when I see my local Target is updating the elf products they sell. If I go a little bit further, I do have a Target nearish to me that has a larger selection but I rarely go to that one.
Great tips on how to use our Small Tapered Brush!
I love so many of those studio brushes. The angled blush brush, "C" brush, small stippling, flat top powder, flawless concealer, angled contour...love, love, love! I will keep an eye out for that one!
I need that brush Emily !!!! You're glowing and I don't think it's the highlighter!!! Have a wonderful weekend...xo patti :)
haha!! Thanks Patti!!
Yes, yes Emily! It was a game-changer for me. Before I started using this brush, I found that I was applying (a) too much highlight and (b) in places that I didn't want to emphasize. Elf makes some awesome brushes. Thank you for recommending it.

Great review! Some of my most loved & most used brushes are ELF!
ELF has a few really good brushes. I will have to check this one out! Thanks Emily. ♥ Elle
Finally! I knew when u found this gem u would love it. When I used this I bought a BUNCH more. I use it for highlight, blush, contour. Havnt tried it for setting but I just might. Gotta give it up for elf

Definitely going to look for this brush. Emily, you really got me to try e.l.f.and I've found many things I really like! Thanks for all your reviews. Very helpful
Well I think I have that put away somewhere! I will have to dig it back out!! Thanks for the reminder Emily! :) xo Kristin
Great review, Emily! I love this brush as well and I also featured it in my review of the ELF Studio Baked Highlighters. A great find!
I picked this up at the Dollar Store and it's been one of my best buys from there by FAR! I use it for setting my under eye and highlight - I LOVE it!👍🏽
I love this for my highlight too! Definitely going to have to try using it to set my under eye.

Love your face makeup today! Looks so natural and flawless
I am brand new to the highlight world and this morning watched a lot of your videos before ordering my first highlighter, and i just ordered this brush too, thanks so much for your great videos and honest reviews. They are so helpful!
I've been using this brush for quite a long time and I've always thought it's so under-rated. So glad that you like this brush too!
I just got this brush a few days ago and absolutely love it! Great review.
O picked this brush up at TJ maxx last weekend and I absolutely love it. Thanks for thw review I now have more ways to use it .
I, too, love this brush and wish I had several. I like it for all of those things - under-eye setting, contour, and highlight! Great brush
I love that brush! i used it for my highlight as well. but contouring is a good idea too, I will have to try that. I love ELF as a whole brand and there aren't many things in the line that I don't like!

I bronze/contour with this brush daily! LOVE it.
This brush & review is exactly what I was looking for for highlighting! Thanks
Love Elf!! I need to purchase a few of them. It would also make a great contour brush as well. Thanks for the review Emily 😊
i love this brush! i use mine for contouring and iv'e been thinking about picking up another since its so multipurpose!
Your skin looks absolutely incredible!!!
That little brush is amazing, so glad you put it outhere what a fantastic brush it is.
I love this brush! Especially for highlight and when I want a really light natural quick dusting of blush. Such a great bargain find!
I got the small stipple brush and oh my gosh, it has helped with my cream blush so much! They were just sitting there in my drawer, hardly touched because I didn't like how they applied so sheer then disappeared with everything else (fingers, smaller synthetic brushes, etc). THANK YOU! This is my go to contouring brush. Fits perfectly in the hollows of my cheeks and is nice and soft for blending out. I use it almost every single day. It's fantastic!
Another great review Emily! I'll have to buy a couple of these. You're looking beautiful as always!
I love it! I use it for contour, it's very precise but gives a soft contour.
Thanks for the review. You're looking well and glowing!
I always love when you do an elf review. Brings me back to the beginning... :)
Nice video!I love Elf Studio Line products and especially brushes!
I have three of these - LOVE this brush, soooo soft!

The ELF Studio brushes are awesome! I have this one plus several others and I love them all! Great video Emily! :) ~Christy
Great review. Looks like an awesome brush. The ELF studio line is awesome. Maybe you can do a brush dupe for your other channel.
Love all your reviews........ and I too am in love with this brush

this was an awesome review to watch. If possible would love to know what you think about elf's whole brush line in a video!
I use the EcoTools mini powder brush that's even smaller than this one to set my under eye concealer. It works great!
I have that. Got it at Target. I love it for highlighting!
you have the best reviews and demos!!!
