Omgggg Rebecca jenshak!!! I only discovered her a month or so ago and I’ve read her whole catalogue which I basically never do, she’s now in my top 3 authors!! All of the series she’s wrote are in the same universe and you get little cameos throughout them all, I’ve LOVED all of her books!!💜
omg you’re on fire!! getting through her backlist in a month is so impressive!! i LOVEE when authors set their series in the same universe so i can’t wait to see all the cameos! 🥹
@@bookswiithsoph honestly it’s super unlike me but she got me hooked🤣🤣 me tooooo I read the wildcat series before I realised and went back to the start and I loved seeing all the cameos🫶🏼
I just finished this phenomenal new book of fairy tales entitled Sillies, Fancies, and Trifles - it was phenomenal and I think you'd love it. It would go with the lovely recommendations here. Keep up the beautiful videos :)
eek i’m so glad you loved it!! a fate inked in blood is the best book i’ve read in a hot minute so i’m SO excited to read danielle’s backlist!! we love tension >>>
i’m yet to read powerless, but i have it sitting on my shelves!! i do love a good bit of banter so might have to bump it up on the tbr 🤭 thank you for the rec and for watching!! 💖💖
Goodreads is wild with book ratings. I’ve started checking star ratings on Amazon instead. They’re generally more positive and I’m not looking a book up because I want someone to talk me out of it. Plus too many people rate books without reading them on Goodreads. But tell me why if a romance has 3.8 or lower, sometimes even a low 4 and I’m like nah. But a thriller can have a very low three and I’m like, sold. Horror writers are out there fighting for their lives with ratings.
goodreads reviews are definitely more critical, but sometimes i appreciate them! whether it’s warning me about a trigger, or a review hating on the book that makes me want read it! 🤣 i also think because of the popularity of romance recently, a bad goodreads review is sometimes pretty reflective 🫣 however, reading is so subjective so 🤷🏼♀️ justice for the thriller/horror authors!!
Girly I live for your TBR videos 😍😍
and i love u!! 🥰💖💖
