@@dkenned4 If you get an opportunity to get a 3 time Pro Bowler you have to take it. It hasn't worked out well as of yet, but the Browns are looking at from a long term perspective not necessarily in the short term.
You could argue Andrew Berry got 1st round caliber talent out of Dawand Jones AND Martin Emerson Jr. That makes up for 2 of the 3 picks the Browns traded for Watson. He's a great GM.
AB is one of the league’s best GM’s. Top 5 without a doubt. He is savvy, aggressive when needed and above all a class act. Glad to see him get some national recognition.
The Cleveland Browns are in very good hands in terms of GM, he is highly intelligent with a Masters Degree from Harvard and he has earned his way up the ranks, starting as an NFL Scout and working his way up the ranks. He worked as an assistant GM in Philadelphia where he learned how to build rosters. I am very confident with his leadership, he also is very congenial, and has built good relationships throughout the organization so the Browns do not have the dysfunction that they had in the past with guys like Ray Farmer, Sashi Brown and John Dorsey.
I won't know when he is getting picked until I see him throw at the combine on Saturday. If he makes all the throws, first round pick. I saw Herbert, Hurts, and Love throw at the combine. Herbert looked like a day one starter. Hurts missed his receivers out of bounds, no picks. Love was 5 yards off his deep passes. He was a development QB. Everyone else sucked.
@@anti-validation Boiling everything down to their performance at the combine is ridiculous lol. That would be like benching a QB because he had a bad practice. It’s just one data point in a huge overall assessment

First of all Chris. Dawans did not have no stigma of being so big and slow footed. Someone spread some bs rumor he wasn't serious about football. You people really need to stop with these unfounded narratives. Do better and leane how to research.
You are objectively wrong, his body size and numbers were compared to Evan Neal and because of Evan Neal’s numbers his rookie season teams were hesitant on Dawand and he fell. You are the one that needs to learn how to research.
Every team that was in the playoff hunt put up 30+ points against the Browns defense. The only exception was the 49ers without Deebo and McCaffrey for half the game. The Browns have a harder schedule next season. Everyone will be saying "what caused this regression". There is no regression.
What happened to almost every team that played in Cleveland?! A lot of those 30 points teams put up wasn’t on the defense, like the playoffs, it was off turnovers.
