I been looking all week for a review of this bag so thank you! The buckle looks to be metal. Does it make the bag feel heavy?

No it’s actually not heavy. It seems lighter than I expected and compared to the faux leather ones I have too.

I don’t know what the buckle is but it’s not overly heavy which that def can be clunky but I haven’t been bothered by it. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching
