Thanks for the review. Not surprised by the speeds. Not stoked to hear about the rest issues.
Can’t wait for my local shop to get these in so I can shoot one again. I’m pretty sure that this will be my next bow.

Enjoy your videos. Thank you for your efforts. Even "tuned to perfection" , you won't pick up 18 FPS. The vast majority of manufacturers have magic unicorn chronographs. One manufacturer I used to work with- The engineer had his own personal chrono , and he had some "interesting" ways of snap shooting through it to get some really high speeds out of the bows. Whenever we would shoot the production bows through a typical chrono, we were always significantly shy of his results with the same bow, his methods of testing and his chrono.

Supposedly if u shoot as soon as it’s full draw u can get a couple extra fps.

looks like a good bow. the old all aluminum xcursions of the exact same size were already 3.9lbs so idk why this ones weight is so impressive

Whos buying or not buying a bow based of the bow hitting the ibo mark? Seriously though, who? I can think of 1 manufacturer that hit the number, it was one of the pse nxt bows and their ibo rating was in the 320s. So no they didn't try to fool you by saying it shot 345fps but it was shooting the same real world ibo speeds every other manufacturer hit. I can think of one type archer that would be an ibo snob for good reason and they shoot 3d and wouldn't be using a hunting bow.

The most important question is: how do you manage to stay in the snow with a sweatshirt? I always follow you from Italy, you are great.

Only for the videos. I normally bundle up...I'm too skinny for the cold weather.

I wont buy a new bow believing it would shoot the advertised speed. These manufacturers really need to be more transparent about this stuff

Great video! Very curious about how this bow "feels" in hand, considering the new blend of materials alloy/carbon. Warmer than a true alloy riser?

I don't think it's any warmer. In the hand, it feels like an aluminum bow.

The vast majority of brands do this. Either than, or my scale measures everybody heavy.

Expidition is the fastest bows on the market right now. Expidition also are hitting there ratings. All the reviews I have seen.
      They're never off by much.

They do a pretty good job at listing the speeds compared to some companies. It is like buying a vehicle that says it gets 35mpg and you can drive it like a grandma every day and still can't see 32mpg. It is one of those things they were able to get in perfect conditions but results will vary. For the heavy arrow thats still a darn good speed. There are bows still struggling to get over 300fps with a 350grain arrow.
