- Today’s walk is one of the best walks I've ever done, and one of the best I ever will.
This is Watkins Glen State Park - and we are walking through the Gorge.
Usually this place is packed...but for you - we are going to have the place to ourselves and explore it in the very early morning.

1. What camera do you use?
I shoot most walks on a DJI Pocket 2 or my iPhone 15 Pro Max. For drives, it's the same cameras - but on a dashcam mount.
2. Where do you live?
I live in the southeastern United States. Kentucky, specifically.
3. What do you do for a living? I work in the coffee industry. That’s all you’ll get from me on that.
4. How do you pick the locations that you film?
I film in places that I go for work, and also in places that I travel to - finding amazing travel deals is a bit of a hobby of mine.

Covid :) that’s the short answer. Long answer, get up at Dawn. Be there right before they list opening time
34:44…does anyone know if they have open this path as of 6/12/22? We are planning to go to watkin glen state park by end of this month and would like to continue after the 1 miles hike point for another 0.5 mile till upper entrance where we can take the shuttle back to the main entrance.

I have been here over 50 times and not on e alone. How did you get to go with no one there and what Month was this.
I forget what month - but it was during covid just after sunrise. Camped at the park and went right in.

AVOID this place, it's now overrun with tourists and selfie sticks that aren't paying attention and could bump into you , pushing you into ravine, totally ruined the experience!
That wasn’t my experience at all - but I’d say it all depends on timing!
