best practice is to remember the belly swings underneath. the center of mass is not on the same plane as the lift of your props like it is with a drone. so thats why when you roll or pitch with a drone it feels very snappy and crisp, the mass is rolling on the same axis and it take very little work to change.
now on a heli that mass sits below your lift point, creating a pendulum effect. so kind of like a truck pulling a trailer the body below is going to be pulled along by the blades and will always have a micro second of delay in its change of direction in relation to the blades above it.
so when you fly its easier to think about flying the rotor assembly and the blades. not the actual body of the heli like you do on a drone. if you picture yourself sitting ontop of that rotor hub as you fly around and kind of ignore what the body does below beyond inputs to correct for it fighting you. then your going to fly very smooth and before long your not even thinking about it.
lol the best part is then you go back to a drone and they not only feel over responsive but they are ugly to fly....... they just dont have the smoothness that a heli will provide. especially through the transitions of movement from flying to hovering and back.

It really does fly very smoothly for such a small hobby grade helicopter

I would have thought it would be easier to fly but you seemed to do fine. You have flown drones, planes and choppers. Do you have a favorite? I must say the copper looks cool when your filming it from above with your drone.

I think for fun, I like planes and drones the most. But the helicopter was a blast too, it's just a different skill that I don't have yet.

@@Rek_Rc You do a great job with all your RC's. What ever happened to your
Gorgon? I really liked how it performed as a basher.

Listen. If you keep showing me all these cool toys, im going to go broke!😂 Awesome little heli, it's actually the first in a while that makes me want to get one again.. but they are a very expensive hobby when you start flying the bigger ones. At least, if you are a crap pilot anyway..lol

You're right! The learning curve for flying RC cars is steep and often unforgiving. Some make great beginner aerial RC's, but most require skills that end up costing a lot to acquire.

@@Rek_Rc my man, I would love to fly RC cars! Hahaha. But yes, exactly. My intro was an align 450 many years ago, and that was an expensive learning curve.. the technology has changed so much since then making it easier (and cheaper) to learn.

That size helicopter is best used indoor. Larger helicopters are more stable in wind.

true but up to 10 mph it should still be very flyable. especially if kept near the ground around an area with alot of trees

If I was better flying it, indoors would be fun!
