Honestly, when I went to the Hobbit it wasn't quite what I wanted. . .But at the end of the movie, when they played this song, and heard Billy Boyd's voice. Every single memory of the Lord of the Rings flooded back to me and I just want to cry of joy! Even more so when I found out the actual name of the song. . . Why does it have to be the. . .LAST. . .Goodbye. . .
You take something simple like hot air and turn it into magic and emotion. What a treasure you are.
So good I love coming back and listening every now and then
I start tearing up when I hear this song, so sad that such an amazing movie franchise has come to an end. Fantastic cover David! :)

Just hearing it brings tears to my eyes, how we are saying goodbye to this incredible adventure, something a lot of us have read when we were younger, a part of us imbedded into that farewell. Hi David, i recently started watching you're videos from like 2006 because i decided to buy an Ocarina. TLOZ is my all time favorite games to play and I never knew there would be people actually playing them. Ive seen a couple of you're videos in trying to chose an Ocarina for beginners and your progress through the years and you've really touched my heart so much i cried. You're videos have inspired me to play the ocarina. Idk who you are, but you my friend are very talented and im so glad you're still doing this, i also can't believe you came out with an album!!! Thats amazing, im at loss for words, through out all my life i thought id never have a talent for anything, that i wasn't meant to be special in this world and you changed that. I get goosebumps just listening to you play and you've inspired me so much to start playing. I was seriously considering getting a Charlie Hind, but then I got scared thinking it would eventually warp from humidity or just from playing it too much because it's made from wood. The sound is incredible. I just can't fathom how one can protect it from moisture damage from blowing into it.

I am using my ex phone I know this is a old video, but I just started playing teardrop ocarina from High Spirits Flutes.I love playing and the sound so beautiful! I will be buying more ocarinas in the future.Ocarinas are so much easier for me to play then Native American Flute.Carrie Kritcher

Thing is, is that it has several instruments playing different parts at once.
I've seen in your videos and how you recorded yourself playing one ocarina and then another and found away to put the two videos together. So it sounded like you were playing two at once.

can you talk about songbirds new ocarina the Star Key? Currently there is very little information about it, I would like to know the range of notes that can be played, how different it is from another ocarina, and an actual sound demo (such as Zelda's lullaby which is one of the preview photos that are on the ocarina page.) Currently the closes thing I can find to a sound demo is the Songbird podcast, which showed a short version of the launch sequence. I thought it looked really cool, but there isn't enough information for me to buy something of that price point. :(
