I am not a seasoned developer, however what I have taken from years of learning different I.T roles and industries is that the high demand jobs are ones that are sub-sets of many popular roles, like, as mentioned - QA, Architect’s etc. Another trick that I think a lot of people miss here is that these videos create market flooding. Take this for example, everyone runs off now to learn AI programming/development. In 5 years time everyone will be doing it, what happens is the previously in demand jobs that are currently considered dead. Are now back in high demand because people aren’t learning and practicing them. Pick something that interest’s you, or you have no hope. Find a role/niche within that sector, practice and build stuff, and a portfolio - the rest is history. Old languages like java and c++ are still in high demand, because they have had their hype, and now stabilised. This is required with all languages/tech roles. Currently everyone is learning python & AI - facts.
High Demand + High Pay = flooded job market where employers are asking for unreasonable expectations from their employees because they can just replace them immediately. It's better to go into high demand fields where there are more jobs than applicants and employers want to fill those roles quickly.
But it takes time build high demand skills like AI/ML. If anyone wants to earn money soon, like 1 year or something, Full Stack Development is batter may be.
This will just filter out people who are not interested in Tech at all and who are in Tech just for money, which are people who had no business ever being in Tech at all.
Gotta disagree with this sorry. The reason for high demand is because there are more jobs than applicants, that's how supply and demand works. High demand + high pay indicates the complete opposite of a flooded job market.

This is the main reason I'm learning data tools such as excel, sql, python, and tableau. I have done some projects already and I do enjoy the process. If I can master these tools, do you think I should strive to be a data scientist with some good AI/ML skillset? Or is my path more of a Data Analyst role? What are the main differences? Should I choose one path here or just keep exploring, because I think limiting myself would be a bad idea. Thank you.

lets be honest here , with AI the entry level seems gone with no return
1 and 2 have an extremely high barrier to entry due to the heavy math and statistics required to be taken seriously.
