I got it a couple days ago and agree it’s such a realistic orange tree smell. Like you’re sitting under an orange tree. U get the sour orange juice, the aromatic zest, the woody tree and a light grassy Vetiver. The only thing that would make this perfect is some sweetness to emulate the juice.

Hopefully Starwalker stays relatively forgotten. It's my dumb summer reach, and part of the appeal is that it's not universally known like many of the other summer freshies on the list. Cold kills the scent immediately, but the performance is perfect to me in the scorching heat, when almost everything else becomes unwearable.

I find Acqua di Parma Chinotto di Liguria smells quite similar to Hermès Eau d'Orange Verte. Though I am fond of them both, oddly in this case the AdP actually performs quite a bit better. Useful list, Ash; thanks.
I love Citrus Paradisi by Czech & Speake, and I really don't understand why this brand is so much under the radar. It has a civet and oak moss note that really elevates it above the mainstream. Hope you can review it at some point.
I sprayed on Dior Homme Cologne once at Dubai airport before getting on the plane, I liked it, but I couldn't smell it on myself at all 10 minutes later sadly. I'll have to try it out in UK climate maybe it will be better..
Nice list. Citrus is one of my favorite notes in the summer. JVAP is one of my favorites. One that doesn’t get much love is John Varvatos Artisan original. Very Orange. I enjoy it for a summertime fresh scent.
Eau Sauvage EDT deserves more praise nowadays. The bitter citrus with that indolic jasmine is something else. Fresh, classy, manly with great performance. True banger.
Great list as always Ash! I have been rocking Zara Vibrant Leather Summer as an alternative to Dior Homme Cologne. I don't get great performance out of DH Cologne and Vibrant Leather Summer gets me a very similar vibe and I picked it up at less than half the price.
@@ogkush6800 They're both similar in performance off my skin. The opening for both lasts about an hour and projects moderately off my skin. Longevity is about 6 hours which is not bad considering citrus fragrances don't usually last too long. The big advantage DH Cologne has to me is the opening obviously smells of better quality. Thats not to say Vibrant Leather smells cheap, but you can tell the difference in quality in the opening. On the drywdown they smelled very similar on my skin.
My video request would be the top 5 to 10 soft to average projecting yet average to long lasting fragrances that would be appropriate for work, casual, and a date. Not worried about temperature extremes, outdoor performance, or formal occasions. Basically the best fragrances that I would use 90% of the time.

"Le Ashton: Edition Apocalyptic Summer" is obviously very nice. I finally got Bulgari Aqua Atlantique today and already like it much more than Aqua Amara. Lately the citrus I've worn most is likely the sweet Eau De Rochas Homme.

I have been trying to find a citrus cologne for 20 years with no luck. I don’t know the brand of the cologne but will instantly recognise it if I smell it. It has a strong lemon citrus scent up front that smacks you in the face, which then mellows down to a nice suttle apple/pear scent. It appears to be a long lasting cologne. It appears that it’s still being produced because I did walk past a guy wearing it a few years ago but couldn’t ask. If anyone has a remote idea of the cologne I am talking about, PLEASE let me know! 🙂

I was hoping you would say more nice things about Dior Homme cologne. :) probably the best among this list (imo), smells extremely nice and high quality. I have got tons of compliments. Profumo is more interesting and deep. Great fragrance. However it’s strong so in hot summer days it can be too much, especially because of the incense. So for hot summer days Profondo is a better pick, it’s fresher. I’d say profumo is a better perfume but profondo is more versatile and less offensive. For a date Profumo is sexier and more masculine.
I don’t disagree with this list. However, Profondo is a bit of an anomaly to me. In a world where it’s similar to so many other scents, I find myself very hesitant on buying a bottle after sampling it at my local Dillard’s. My frag seller guy and I both agreed there’s nothing new or unique about it. If the bottle was unique I’d probably buy it for collection sake but that’s out the window.

Dior homme cologne is great. but for only 10 dollars i bought Angel schlesser Bergamota- its 95% the same, its made by Alberto morillas, and lasts longer than Dior cologne. Dont tell this secret to anyone.......gent scentes.....great videos you make

My favorite citrus is Hermes eau tres Fraiche. Such a great realistic smelling citrus, and it isn't too sweet

My favourate is aqua di parma arancia and pomelo and orange from atelier cologne but you have to apply it every half hour

I noticed the same thing. I think it is unisex because there are not men's and women's versions.
