I hope you enjoy the return of this series! Vote for the next map in the comments below :)
If you could review Severogorsk, that would be awesome! I always have trouble with that map...
***** i hate windstorm but love severo gorsk
Windstorm, that's my weakness!
Hey, thnx for the video, I appreciate it. But I just wanted to say that you spelled Tank Destroyers wrong. (You forgot the T.)
Thnx again, and keep up the good work.
Do Himmelsdorf!
1. Severogorsk (after 9.0 its so different)
2. Windstorm (I kind of know the general layout but I dont know specific spots for each type of tanks)
3. Fjords (I dont know where to go with mu td's, only with heavys)
4. Province :D For the lol's
These are the maps which I would like to see explained. They are listed by the amount of explaining needed.
Windstorm yes!
Maybe south coast? i have 10k battles, 54% winrate and i still have no idea how i should play that map :D
Gabriel Rus I should have added that to my list also.
With you all the way, your top 2 picks are exactly what I want to see.
Sever is a top pick for me as well. Pearl River and then Serene Coast would also be nice.
Why did u stop this series ? It is great bro I just love it
I'd love to see a map review of the new Pearl River =)
I agree the new Pearl River map has been a thorn in my side since it came out. I know all the changes to the map and the map needed it to be honest. In my opinion it has changed from a stagnant fight in the east valley with all the slow tanks and a fast paced hit and run in the west. Now if you are a slower tank it is better to just camp in the back because of all the different choices the enemy have of flanking you. If you commit too many resources to one place and the enemy isn't there then you are screwed. In my opinion there is just not enough tanks on the team to effectively defend any of the possible avenues of attack. So in essence WG has fixed the stagnant game play in the east with camping farther back. We all know that camping too many ppl is a loosing strategy, so maybe QB could provide us with some options.
Pearl river is already done ;)
mcfs13jorma the NEW Pearl River
I think he went over some of the differences in Pearl River on the 9.0 map changes video though I can't remember if it was in depth tactics.
FireShorts And that is precisely what I think it could be revisited especially with all the new paths around the middle of the map.
Nice video,i would like to see a video about windstorm or swergogorsk
It was through your map tactics last year that I first came across your channel. I am so pleased that you have been able to do them again.
For the future I would find any map almost equally interesting, but if I had to request just one:
Map request: ENSK
First off, thanks QB for this series, it is most enjoyable. Keep up the good work. One of my least favorites, always get killed from a tank in the arches lol Thanks for the strategic knowledge of this map, I would say the next would be Dragon Ridge, but NA doesnt have it anymore, so my choice would be Paris.
I really like these "guide and tactics" videos. You are really good teacher and I appreciate really much for all your advice.
Allright! The map tactics is back. I've been waiting for this, since I found the earlier map tactics videos helpful. Thank you QB!
Great work Quicky. Your tips are always very helpful (eveything is described in a very visible and clear way). Iam glad that you finally have some time to continue this awesome series. Thanks one more time.
Great that these map tactics videos are back! These are among the very best from quickybaby I think.
Anyway, I vote for a new take on Redshire. That map has been soooo changed, completely unlike the old one. It is currently the map I find the hardest to figure out.
I think Windstorm needs some explaining...
great series! we need more of these
This was actually quit helpful. I decided to try your medium tank tactic and go towards the center gate with my Indien Pz, ended up doing 3.5k dmg (double of my team) and ace tanker with 1k+ spotting damage. Thanks for the video!
I would recommend using the HD map mod instead of using the WG map, the HD mod is slightly more detailed then the WG version.
Thanks for bringing these back :D
Flat tanks like the Object 416 and the ELC work very well in the fields since the shallow parts between hills are good enough to cover yourself and the anti-tank-rock-line-thingy can still protect you from possible shots coming from the town border and may also hide the flat tanks.
Komarin. PERIOD. If THAT map doesn't get kicked out of the game, then I have to learn from someone who has played this game much more than me what to do on it, BESIDES camping in right bottom / top left corners of the map like all the fuckin TDs/noobs (YES NOOBS, fuckin T29s and WZ 111 HEAVIES camp there, because they are afraid to move since artillery pretty much has a clear shot on you wherever you would be on the map(mostly) or if artillery won't kill you, then TDs will). If you are on the northern side of the map, basically all you would have to do is let your TDs sit in that corner with some tanks spotting the people coming at you and you just win.
EDIT: Not to mention the fact that this map is FUCKING SMALL. A TD can basically spot you half way through the map if tier 8 or higher, maybe even less than tier 8 can spot you.
2nd edit: I platoon with my friend all the time in WOT and when we get put in Komarin (in the present we just go back to garage straight up), but in the past we used to go in the middle and we usually took out everyone who came at us in that little island, BUT after that all we could do was try to spot incoming enemies from that position, because if you tried to move (middle island being in the middle of the map) fuckin TDs wrecked you if you even poked your fuckin dick around the corner. And there we sit for 10 minutes UNTIL those idiot TDs on the enemy team finally move JUST to get killed by me and my teammate. I wish I would have saved that screenshot in which me and him had like 10 kills between us while our team hadn't MOVED AT ALL from the beginning of the match from that CORNER to HELP US. We basically had around 15k~20k damage just between us.
I can tell you a couple things for the amount i've played on there.
1- don't go middle. Every time i've played there they might have been able to push through but then got shot in the sides by everyone else that went the other two ways.
Heavys should to the east side. There is more cover and you can get to the buildings surrounded by the concrete walls pretty quickly. West can work too but i recommend you only go that way if you're in a fast heavy or have a good view range to spot the tanks on the other side before they spot you. Its better for meds with speed.
Go west if your in a medium tank with good speed,a good turret front and good gun depression. there is a indent in the ground where you can use it to your advantage but you're susceptible to Arty a bit more so its an aggro med spot but be careful.
TDs that go west should stay at the back where those rocks are where the river thing is. if you go east stay in the forest at the back or in the town where you're harder to spot.
light tanks should push up to the two buildings on the west in the indentation on the ground.
If you go East you should push up to their part of that empty field with the destroyed buildings with windows you can shoot through for some aggro spotting.
If you're not that fast get some binos up and spot from your side of the field where the houses are.
Meds on the east can also push up from the coast using their speed to get around the enemy. but you're susceptible to arty and to enemy fire from the trees. also if there is any tanks middle they can spot you.
This is what i can infer from the map from all the time i've played on it.
Cherno Good advice. For TDs on the north, there is a great position in a bush close to the spawn area, you can do damage all over the field
heridfel Thanks.
it will be changed.
West side will have an extra bit of land with a couple of houses. less bshes
Severogorsk please!!
I'm happy this series are back. Tkx, QB.
I would love to see steppes!
I've been epic? Wow, I don't remember being epic, it was probably a mistake. I do remember you doing all the work and me thoroughly enjoying and appreciating it. Another "Well done, Sir" to you.
THANK YOU! This is exactly what I needed. I used your tactics and just got a 7,000 WN8 with my T-43.
Awsome man thnx a lot.
I would like a Swamp map tactics
I wish quickybaby would make more map tactics videos. Those are the most valuable of all his videos.
I just noticed.
I like that black lamp behind you. It's looks nice.
Derpenberg! It would be interesting to see an in depth look at the corner of fail. Also how to breakthrough the TD campfest on the east side would be useful as well and how to move up through the town effectively.
I love this series. This is why I originally subbed :D I'd love to see any of the newly reworked maps.
Amazing breakdown and presentation QB. Thanks!
Just wanted to say thanks for what you do! I know it must be a lot of work but it does help us new players out tremendously.
Great video(s), could you please do Prohorovka next time? It is a very open map and it is also one of the maps where historical battles take place. :)
thank god there back!! i love this series
Glad your doing these again!
By far your most valuable vids for new players like me. TY TY. Keep em coming!
Finally another map tactics video! These are amazing. How about south coast next? Keep up the fantastic work QB.
Great vid QB!! Thanks for reviving the series :)
OMG i can't believe you're back to Map Tactics series..finally!! THANKS!!
Next map: Windstorm
Very nice video! It would be nice if you continued to do guides like this on the more complex maps like Fisherman's bay!
Northwest is one I'm lost on. That would be great to see. These videos are great, knowing where to go is the key success in this game.
best video series, please continue
So glad you brought the map tactics back.
QuickyBaby! Please, your Maps Tactics are Great! Please! Do More!!! Gave me great ideas for fighting! Thanks a lot!
I know you touched on it a bit, but kinda disappointed you didn't go more in depth into arty firing lines. It's so important on city maps like this. Even if you don't like arty, many of your viewers play them.
Even the biggest arty haters love them when they nuke that full health heavy in front of them!
most of the popular arty spots are what everyone uses now generally artillery doesnt have any different tactics so they play the same way all the time there are exceptions but artillery is different from other tanks so they wont have much diversity in game-play.
cuttlefish culler There are quite a few ways to play artillery. I love my tanks, but play a LOT of artillery - and depending upon the nation's strengths and weaknesses (arch, accuracy, and splash radius being the primary 3) - there are quite a few diverse ways to play arty.
Smackedown true but take into account that most dont really change all that much since they do about the same thing and most do the jobs at the places where he listed artillery to be kinda redundant to say this is where arty is when he mentions where they are during the other types and how to play it is simple not saying easy but simple.
Voting for Severogorsk--thanks for the vid
I vote for this one also..
yeah, the new 9.0 one, i can't get the hang of the new map :/
I vote for that 2
Love these videos, and I gotta throw my vote in for Windstorm. That map is just full of questions to which I don't have the answer.
I thought this was a very informative video. You showed the lines of attack and defense nicely with your new technology. Keep going!
Nice to see your views on the re designed cliff map
Another kick add video, man! You and Jingles, are why my win rate is an even 50% haha! Much appreciated advice!!
Great vid, I use a lot of these positins already, and that hill from your Borsig vid, Hidden Village be nice to do, or the New Pearl River :) Just all of them really
Hi quickybaby. Really find your vids helpful. Would love to see more based around map knowledge like these. any/all maps would be good. Hope you get time for them again in the future and if you can (and if you go tankfest) I will quite happily buy you a beer!!!
Go Komarin next.
Don't put him through that... :P
love these QB
Malinovka map tactics
Thank you! Agree with Severogorsk or Northwest (I would add Winterstorm as third)
serene coast, especially for medium tanks..
Amazing QB! Thanks. Please do more.
Thank You I was really hoping you would bring this one back!
Great that you brought back map tactics
cant believe QB came back with more map tactics videos.
Yes! More map tactics please! these are my favourites.
MOAR MAP TACTICS! this is what players need!
The new Severogorsk, I have no idea how to play it anymore. The changes have made it so different it's become very difficult for me to adapt.
Thanks so much QB, I can't wait to try these tactics on my tanks
Lakeville!
Quickybaby, I understand how much more demanding the map guides compare to featuring the ”the fastest active scout” are. However, with your excellent ideas about ”safe play” for tier 1-4 as discussed over Xmas I suggest to continue with these excellent guides as replacement for the WOT lack of tutorials. I challenge you and jingle & lemmingrush + others: help us to get better! Your #tankbetter should be back with arrival of 1.4! Do that and I pledge my pantreon support. Help community as you always do...
YEEES! The return of Map Tactics!
Just discovered this series... great!!! I'll look for more :)
Severgorsk tactics would be welcome.
QB, I think you should preface these videos with a warning that the tactics are for experienced tankers. Reason being is that a fairly inexperienced player trying these things are more likely to die early for no real impact due to pushing too soon or revealing too much when poking. New players are probably better off playing cautiously which is something you rarely do.
Thank you for an excellent video! I really appreciate the hard work, and I learnt quite a few things. I'd love a discussion of Ruinberg - that map is my nemesis.
Windstorm. Why? Well yea the other maps have changed but I atleast understood them before. This new one however baffles me.
Brilliant video! I have to check out the other ones now.
YES, it's back! Thanks Quicky
Thats was good help to my experience on this map ;) I thinkSwamp or Sandriver quide would be good cause heavies are easier to play at city but much harder on large areas without buildings cover.
I like these tactics on this map. Very helpful.
tell me what system you use on the computer. I am getting a new computer. I want to play World of Tank and War thunder ground force.
e-mail in dklieves@gmail.com
By the way I do enjoy your video they are a great source of info.
Donald Klieves
new Sewerogorsk
I, personally, want more map tactics videos, in fact, I would like one for every map. Well, in the least, you know that I value your opinion and thus, subsequent videos.
Peace,
Hovis
You must feel like Sisyphus making map tactics vids when the maps keep changing so often.
I truly enjoy your work. Thank you so much. However, you'll be happy to know that your work is soooo well known, that when I took my medium tank directly to the spot you like, I was immediately obliterated by arty! He must have watched your video! But seriously, thanks!
The new, reworked, Serene Coast. Hate this map and eventually you can provide me with some new ideas!
great job so far!
Fantastic! So helpfull! Great work, keep them comming :)
If I may wish for next map tactic, I would choose Komarin!
Windstorm next, and I am so glad these are back.
I have played this map a lot and never seen it develop like this. It is always a mixed free for all.
Very useful, thank you! Please continue. My vote is Komarin
Horray, the maptactics return!!!!
As usual Quicky. Good job, thanks for the insights! Windstorm!
Windstorm :)
do this for the new or updated maps
Komarin, please. Happy tout sée toi back Wirth pap review. Good job indeed
Wind storm would go nicely as I think many people have not figured out how to play it yet
Yes! Map tactics! You rock QB
Himmesldorf next
redshire has to be a must
Nice vid man, I can see these would take a bit to sort out, thanks for putting the effort in :)
windstorm - for next map tactics review. TY Qbaby!
At last! Great video, as the others, quicky. I appreciate if you do a review on Severogorsk or Komarin maps :)
awsome job..RLY HAPPY u started this again ...hope u have time for all the maps
my vote is for NORTHWEST...rly ugly map..cant figure it out alone.thx
damit QB clean up your livingroom
Do ruinberg pls! I get owned over and over again bacause I don't know what to do
Your series is great. Keep'um coming. I vote for Sacred Valley.
Voting for Ruinberg or Komarin. Great vid! Looking forward to more and hopefully I can start being a better player ;)
ruinberg (for me)
I think I'm one of the very few that kinda want to see one for Pearl River since it was re-done. I know it's not one of the more requested maps I've seen being asked here, but I would like to see one for the map.
