- Open Price and Initial balance play a very important role in Intraday trading, In this video, I tried to explain it in a very simple way.
1. Open Within Value: Balanced open ( Low Risk: Low Reward )
2. Open outside Value but within the previous day range: Imbalanced open ( Medium Risk: Medium Reward )
3. Open outside the previous day range: Highly Imbalanced open ( High Risk: High Reward )

Nataraj, can I say that the POC level is where lot of trades happened during the day? If the answer to this question is yes, we can somehow find his price point using volume profile right? Assuming that is true, can volume profile and candle sticks charts replaces market profile charts as it give same kind of market informations? Is there is any other information available other than this when we use market profile?
Good question,
There is a thin line difference between the Volume profile and market profile.
The POC identifies by using Market profile is called PRICE POC and it indicates a point where price has spent most of the time during the day.
Whereas the POC of Volume profile indicates a maximum transaction or trades occurred during the day and these both POCs are different.

Candlestick charts can replace the MP Charts and if you notice my other videos where I use candlesticks along to analyze the markets.
Again it's contradictory and debatable by software sellers :) but for a trader like me, I like to see the price alone to get the clarity!

So, IB is just first hour trading range. Even if price gaps up and it doest auctions back to yesterday's close. we dont consider the gap. Is it so? Please clarify.
We don't consider the gap while calculating the IB Range
