They probably work the same way as ants, so while I don't think Vector would be off with other ladies, he probably views you - being the leader of your group and then the alliance - as the 'queen' of your own mini hive, thus is normal for you to be meeting other dudes. Plus, he does still retain much of his old self, and being a diplomat and knowing you are a covert operator his more human side is probably okay with that since it's part of your job. He even states when marrying that he knows there can't be any official ceremony or record of it, for the sake of your cover.
