Anything that directly follows a minus sign is omitted from a search. By adding a space you'te omitting nothing. Its worth exploring by yourself when youre not under a time crunch. If definitely saves time
@TaylorExchange just do an easy test. Search mens sweater -wool or something like that. You might be looking at things that aren't search results like super promoted. I often use it for -vtg and -vintage. Sellers will put in title but not specifics. There's a reason ebay pushes specifics but I don't worry about what other people do or don't do. I worked on databases for years and my brain considers that a full description. Plus I price high so it evens out to me. But I'm fast. Unlike those old people who held you up.
Have you ever found any Stika Gear clothing? I found a vintage camo Mossy Oak shirt yesterday and got curious about other brands of camo clothing, needles to say Stika Gear just got placed at the top of my BOLO list.
Glad I found your channel THANK YOU ❤ I am listening to a self created list of your videos while processing my inventory...quick question ⁉️ can you help us newbies who have taken the time to learn, gain knowledge and finally jumped in putting acquired "insights" into action...HOW NOW CAN I actually get the world to start buying when I have over 100 quality items posted, have processes in place, keep posting daily but EVERY PLATFORM I HAVE ZERO FEEDBACK YET so I am losing customers instead to those with 1000s of feedback 😮🤦🏻♀️😩 thanks
The low feedback is a short term issue. The easiest way to get a sale is make the deal so good the buyer cannot turn it down. This means making less money but some money is better than no money.
Interesting video. Off topic but have you notice photos when listing seem slower? My connection is good but as I open each photo (to crop/edit) I get the spin thing now when it used to go picture to picture fairly fast.
@@TaylorExchange For some reason I cant have 3 white lights but they still come out dark. If I turn up the brightness they look faded. If I edit when listing on ebay I can turn up the brightness it just does background and not the object. I use S20 cellphone.
@@dwfinds3030 I found the daylight bulbs worked best. Even still, with some colors it is hard to get an exact match. I also used the grey background as opposed to white.
Good call. I would suggest always checking style numbers on Filson whenever you find it. Most of us are not doing enough volume to skip checking style numbers. Maybe if I had 250 in and out every day I would skip checking styles, but at that point I would expect to be familiar with every modern banger by style (Filson, Patagonia, etc) For example, This week I got a north face that I was going to list for around $60 but I feel confident pricing it out at $200 because of checking comps and looking at the style number.
@@TaylorExchange haha thanks so much! For real tho, love your channel and thank you so much for all the advice and information you provide other resellers ☺️
Hi, please explain what a Brushpopper is because I had to look it up! Remember, always assume your audience is ignorant to what u're speaking about, & this term is not common, to those of us who don't wear this type of clothing! Also, I appreciate the video, but it's kind of all over the place & really doesn't have a clear objective, which is what I need to follow, very specific steps, in copious detail, but these kinds of videos are for more advanced sellers but thanks, anyway!
For real?? Dude I need to take a class 😂 I may live my whole life not understanding cookies, vpn’s, and the internet in general. At least I have smart viewers who can help me out. Thanks

I thought I had it right in this attempt but the search didn’t look right. I might need to find a another seller whose made a video on it!

Nope but I’ll have to look into it. Thanks!
The Filson Alaskan Guide Shirt is just the model. It's a popular model and retails for $145.

Hey DW, no. The biggest issue your running into is crop and editing your photos. Try to take your photo so you don’t have to edit!

I sold an Alaska Guide shirt. I looked up the style number and it told me what the model was called.
That’s smart! I never look up models but that’s definitely a way to get a more accurate comp!
