It can be hard to get started. Have you talked to neighbors or asked your parents if they have co-workers that need a babysitter? Have you told the family you babysit for how much you love babysitting and suggested they mention you to their family and friends that need a babysitter?
Get on a Facebook mom group and post ads there ( DONT SHARE YOUR NAME,AGE,ADRESS ETC!!)

How do I handle advertisement? I’m only twelve and don’t want to be stuck babysitting a fourteen year old or something. How should I get gigs specifically for younger kids? I am planning to get certified in CPR and SafeSitter but I have no clue how to get gigs. Maybe signs? I’m afraid I might end up getting stuck with an older kid since I am kind of young. I have the experience and the maturity I just am kinda scared about that.
Ok, I read some of the responses to everyone else question. We all have the same thoughts on the topic. Maybe a video Idea? I could really use some more info than just the automated one you use a lot.
This definitely would make a good video as I get asked this question a lot. It is kinda tough to answer because everyone's situation is so different. Some babysitters live in neighborhoods with tons of kids and their parents really help them get jobs. Other kids live in areas where there aren't a ton a kids and their parents don't know people with younger children and it is hard to get jobs. Some babysitters have big families and have cousins to babysit, other babysitters live in a city where they don't have any family. I wish it was a as easy as "do this" but it just isn't.
When I started babysitting, it was easy to get jobs. I had volunteered in the nursery at church and got to know a bunch of families that trusted me to babysit. The one thing I always tell people is that you have to be safe. There are creeps in this world and you don't want to put your contact information on a flyer that is posted somewhere a creep can find you.
You likely will start babysitting older kids first, and that's okay. It will give you the experience you need to babysit infants and toddlers. And don't view babysitting older kids as "getting stuck." You want to babysit, right? So any chance you get to get started is a great opportunity! Good luck and definitely take Safe Sitter this summer (a lot of classes teach CPR as well!).

how do you handel a kid if they get theier first piriod?
Call the child's parent for help. The parent can tell you where they keep hygiene items and may want to come home and be with the child. Do not tell the other children as this can be embarrassing for the child.
Can you make a episode of when a medical emergency happens?
Here's what you need to know:
If it is serious and urgent (a threat to life like a seizure or a cut that is pumping blood rapidly), call 9-1-1
If it is serious and not urgent (fever, vomiting, or minor burn), call a back-up adult
If it is not serious and not urgent (scrape, splinter, or a baby tooth falls out), handle the situation yourself.

I have question for you babysitter boss. I have family that comes over a few times a year and I sometimes have to babysit my five year old cousin. Sometimes my aunt pays me. How much do you think I should charge if she dose not know. P.S. I love your channel.
How much has she paid you before? Do you think that is a fair amount or do you feel like you deserve more? Are there adults present when you're babysitting or is it just the two of you? How much babysitting experience do you have? Enough to charge $5/hour or $10/hour? Or somewhere in between? There is a lot to consider when determining your fee. Whatever you decide, make sure you tell your aunt how much you charge up front.
