Literally came here to say that. STUPIDDDDD amounts of ammo. Can also take over the ammunition plant at the top of the map and manufacture a decent amount. Also, just run Daily Ops and Expeditions. The drop of contextual ammo at this point in the game is absolutely ridiculous

Thanks for the video. I am a new player as of a few weeks ago and have finally passed level 50. I had thought to try and use the ammo converter that others had but thought it may have been stealing their ammo. Glad to hear that is not the case. There is a lot of stuff to learn as you go that is not really said anywhere. I'm on Xbox and most players seem really cool. Someone crafted me some weightless leather armor with random legendary stars when I was about level 25 which I used until level 50. I promptly dropped it in a donation box back at the vault to be used by the next player.
Welcome @garywatson5500 You are in for a treat if you are just starting this wonderful game. You go at your own pace and there are too many things to list that you can do. There are secrets to be found and lots to enjoy. Try area chat with a headset and chat to others around you, I have chatted to all sorts of interesting people that play. Go use of the donation box Gary. I am on xbox too, if you come across me, I will give you some weapons that are great fun.

I converted my enclave flamer to use ultracite cells and crafted myself 600 ammo to start. Since then ive accumulated over 23k ultracite cells simply by playing the game as the flamer kills things using less ammo than enemies drop. Every kill is a net gain!

once you kill something with a weapon you will get a weapon drop which is scrapped with steel.... scrap the weapon as per video.....obvs..
if farm to westtek, i ussualy can scrap 500 steel from weapon and junk.

I do west tec for steel and have scraping perk on. Make spikes on my ammo build which is maxed out for only making ammo which gives me 40k of what ever as long as it’s not Ultra ammo which im nuking everyday, but with this event going there are fewer players to help out scorch queen. Mortimer has my favourite weapon plan for my new build. Also how I play now im up to 4k gold a week.

all right, that works, but that doesn't provide ultracite ammo, and i believe that contextual ammodrop is more efficient, especially if you do the pitt expedition
@cookie-51 Yes, it definitely works as Pitt expeditions only come out recently. With regards to Ultracite, I too questioned why they didn`t put that in the converter... Thanks for your comment mate👍👌
Just not to get wrong: You get 100 Points by selling 30 Railway Spikes and spent 2500 Points by buying 300 Cell.
So you have to sell 7.000 Railway Spikes for 300 Cells too. Which means at the end of the day you have to spent 9.800 Steel to get 300 Cells.
Not a good deal, isn't it?
Its the only deal in the game..good or bad…the point is Steel is in almost all weapons that fall when you kill something. So if you use ammo you convert it to ammo..

As a level 1300 player that has been playing Fallout 76 since it was released your comment is incorrect. It doesn’t take long to use this converter, its an easy few taps on the controller or keyboard🤦♂️ . You can input in hundreds, thousands etc ??
@@FalloutDez Bro I am not that new to the game and also over level 1000, on PlayStation it’s horrible and takes a lot of time. I see the only benefit for players who don't have a 1st member. They have to feed in, the unusable ammunition.
But don't swap for new ammunition, leave them in the converter and take them out bit by bit, i.e. swap points for new ammunition but bit by bit. But as I said, it only makes sense for low level players.
@omidnajatu7659 Thanks for the comment. I play on xbox and the interface is clunky but it works. Not everyone can afford Fallout 1st hence why I did the video. When you become high level like you then you forget what its like for the low levels and trying to search around for ammo is tedious. I have tried from level 1 a few times and its was difficult but got to say quite good fun as everything took work. I am also trying a few other games atm and starting from scratch takes a little thinking instead of being able to do stuff off by heart. But we play games for fun so its all good 😁
I dont have my Xbox rn but i have a gamesir and have been playing this game on my cell phone, i vought it when it came out but was super bugger then stopped playing just picked it back up and my suprise i was lost and confused lmao not quite like fallout 4 and others but seems decent so far, sturgging to find a hemlt for my power armor tho evwry time i find a new set and a spawn location theres no helmet and im to low of a lvl to do most things just hit lvl 20 still figuring it out but some random guy gave me a bunch of plans so that helps hopefully i hit lvl 50 soon tho so i csn acutally use what he gave me
Nice comment……Ok, Fallout is a complicated game. Give yourself sone time to wrap your head around it and it will reward you immensely as it has so many interesting things to do.
Most players give up as it not a simple shoot and kill there is so many different options.
If you watch the beginner videos on my channel and other channels on TH-cam you will fully under perks, armour and weapons.
Dont forget serums, chems, food and bobbleheads.
Wear cool apparel and paint your weapons.
Enjoy the main quest and side quests, dailys and expeditions and events galore.
Part of me wishes I started again from scratch with no idea of the what this game has. @jonshipley8146
Just do expeditions with high level people friends or random they just kill and since you’re on their team, you get the kills, so you get XP and ammo for free that what I do to get thousands of rounds for my weapons

This is not exactly breaking news. And you don't even have to do it. Just be carrying the weapon you need ammo for and find ammo boxes and odds are you'll get ammo for it as long as you were carrying it as primary before you get in spawn range of the box or ammo container. When I got my ultracite plasma caster, I just went to an ammo box, got ammo for it. In an hour I had over a thousand cartridges for it. Now I have so much I'll never use it all.

If you carry too much different ammo then you need perk cards or dump it or convert it like in the video.

@@FalloutDez Well now I hav like 8000 cartridges of ultracite plasma. Can't even sell them or convert them for holy fire fuel. No one needs to buy anything it's all easy to get. At the same time I can't not pick them up every time. When I got my explosive Gatling gun I ended up with 50,000 something ammo and converted it for fuel. But the point is you really don't even need the converter. I'm sitting on more fuel and caster ammo than I'll ever need, most of which I just got from ammo boxes and looting corpses with scrounging perk. I can't even sell my fuel, no one needs to buy it when you can just go grind it for free.
Your weapon isn’t popular as its low powered hence why you can’t sell your ammo
I was just thinking im waiting for new scoreboard for scraping and making items. And not to many at a time as it wastes scoreboard points.
yes...lots of little challenges to fulfil and get score...I personally do the score challenges first and then scrap for ammo
Unfortunately, the ammo converter doesn't give ultracite ammo.
Yes….the only negative of the converter. No idea why they could set it a 50 to 1 or something like that 😟
Alantic city expedition, the bad guys drop 10 and above ammo of the gun you shot them with. Start with 200 ammo walked away with 3 tines that amount.
Great info @paulharris7660 - Expeditions is good for ammo but you have to work to get an expedition started.

I don't even need to make ammo anymore since they made it contextual just hit the ammo boxes in the world with the gun you need ammo for out be for you get to the box ......

It depends, if you use an automatic then youll probably still struggle with ammo in the beginning

No unfortunately not. I don’t know why you can’t either….
I only do it Fule Rest of ammo not worth it I only do that because I have literally have a ungodly supply of steal

Yes fallout 1st get the can traps from Camden park. Top of the world and cervasse dam Switch service and repeat And the mistle sites have a gym which have lead weights in them to
reason why I say it's not really worth it. Its because I used prime ammo Except for the fixer Which you normally pick up more than you use
