Six German Cruisers are no match for a battleship in "Atlantic Fleet", especially for the Temeraire. To give your fights a more realistic touch always give the enemy "elite gunnery". Then try to play Bismarck, Tirpitz, Scharnhorst and Gneisenau versus Duke of York, Prince of Wales, King George V., Nelson, Rodney, Repulse, Renown and Hood. You play the Germans. This would be a balanced battle, because as a human player your gunnery skills are always far better then the computers. For a last kick add Victorious for the Royal Navy. 😉
the return fire should be a steady stream considering the number of ships all the pocket battleships have torpedo tubes. Highly doubt that everyone would be waiting their turn to fire. Funny all the short shots and long shots by the Germans all tightly bunched. Would have been spread out firing from all angles
Far more realistic than WoWs where Temeraire would have been burned to death by HE spam and non stop torpedo salvos from tubes which never run dry, reload at insane speeds and the torpedoes travel at speeds no WW2 weapon could.
Wows isn't even meant for 'realism' it is meant to be a game to play there are even ships that never existed in the first place like the German aircraft carriers don't blame a game for not being realistic when it's not even meant to be realistic like look at war thunder the naval player base is non existent because it's boring But tbh being HE spammed sucks that is why cruisers and destroyers are hard to play in random battles for me
No strategy from the Kriegsmarine. They should have split up to try and prevent full salvos coming in to each of their ships. And the Germans' rear turrets are masked much of the time as they steam bow on toward the the Big T. But it was enjoyable to watch the game unfold!!!
not a real life tactic. The Germans would have spread the cruiser out on the flanks and Pocket which were slower in the center. Never see a single torpedo fired for them with. 11 inch guns could do serious damage to her as can the 8 inch from the cruisers. Would have been raining shell fire from the 40 barrels
Good video. But I do have a few minor issues with it. This battleship was outnumbered 6-1 they all should have done major damage to the battleship. Second I counted at least 7 hits on that second gun turret it should not have been able to fire anymore. 3 the battleship should have showed damage from being hit and listing. Plus the German guns where almost the size of battleship guns not American size guns on our cruisers and destroyers. But other than that cool video.
Well, that's Atlantic fleet for you. I play the mobile version, even now, and sometimes it is borderline unplayable. Like, battleships pulling a full 180 in a single turn and dodging torpedoes that should have hit, turrets that should have been knocked out staying in action even though I pumped 12 11 inch AP shells into it, and the damage can be very inconsistent. Sometimes an enemy ship can tank and ungodly amount of damage and keep floating, and sometimes yours goes down to a SINGLE F**KING TORPEDO, WHY DID THAT SINK YOU RENOWN, IT WAS A SINGLE F**KING TORPEDO YOU ABSOLUTE FU-
No surprise: Battleships are armoured against guns of their own calibre. The only realistic chance a cruiser has against a battleship is getting close and perform a successful torpedo attack. However, the AI is pretty limited so this was never an option. Only target practice for Temeraire.
Use 16“ HE shells against relatively lightly armoured cruisers, win faster.. Great game....
