Srk cycles in Pennsylvania your neighbors told Harley-Davidson if they give him a new Sportster S that he turn IT INTO a flat tracker and guess what Harley gave him one of the new revolutionary engine sportsters of the 1250 CC 121 horsepower... I guess it was year before last Harley gave Rusty Butcher a new Harley Dyna set up for doing stunts that he does in the momma tried series racing.. ther TH-cam channel snowcat bad mouthing Harley so severely it was unbelievable which it was as it was all the front and before we knew it Harley gave him a new road King and then he goes over his dad's house and compares it to his dad's Harley is this snow cat dude all this time he's bad mouthing and Harley hating Harley he's working on already give him one like his dad's so you see you got to work up some of that magic PR of yours and sweet talk KTM into sponsoring a Motocross version of your street legal Enduro Maico 700.. after all ktm's taking on Husqvarna now and gas gas somebody in there it's got Deep pockets and they'll write it off for advertisement over the whole world there's no reason why they wouldn't send you guys a demo of their Moto bikes that you can take to the shows and to the motocross track and I'm sure that's what they would want you to do with it and get those things back out and circulation again besides can you have already gave t KTM a huge chunk to them anyway ... It wouldn't hurt KTM to send a Factory motocross bike for you to advertise for them for free as you're doing now. . I mean dang it man you're already a gas gas dealer for them and get the Husqvarna in there too ... And just because you got a few bucks doesn't mean you got to give it all to the company you got a museum to take care of and they know that and what better place to advertise their products think about it... I work for the largest Honda dealer in the whole United States sold most gold wings of any of them as we sold over 2,500 units a year and the boss didn't have a dime in one of them not one of them the bank carried it all and Gail Hughs pocketed all the prophets as it was said he retired that business about 14 million into the green.... I met his boy randy last year at Walmart he told me the whole story about stuff I didn't know about was going on while I was working there as I was the only goldwing mechanic turning out all those f****** bikes while Gail Hughes my boss was gone 6 months out of the year I never saw anything about it hell he was on free tour by the Japanese Honda company send him around the world several times to all the Milan shows in Italy and The Big show and friends and Germany and England while I was busting my ass for the Honda shop but I can't I can't talk too loud I had it totally made there I mean I wrote my own ticket .. edema Oliver was our parts lady and Gail hughes's Aunt and she gave us more stuff than we bought ... I had a complete set of Honda racing leathers free of the Marty Smith style in 1976 with my new red frame Honda yeah I had it real rough ... And bought my first three Harleys there that's on the Honda shop... And me and Mikey the parts sales manager who did absolutely nothing all day but look at motorcycle magazines and race car books..we took one of Gail hughes's used cars as he sold Chrysler too and we took a 1973 Pontiac GTO that was cherry and beat the glass out of it with a sledgehammer and welded in a pipe roll cage and totally destroyed a collectible GTO the last year they made them.. and entered it into the hobby stock class at putnamville and the bomber class at Sweet Owen raceway ... For that day I was driving and we had an inverted start that was a surprise to everyone and since I had qualified last that put me in Pole position so I come around to get the green flag the engine came apart like a grenade and sprayed all the liquids and fluids out of the car all over the race track right in front of the grandstands where all the fast guys were in the back still in the throttle and they're $10,000 show pieces was all piled up three high like a demolition derby and while the smoke was clearing I slipped out the passenger side window and casually walk back up to the pits like nothing happened and when I got there it was Don Duncan's girlfriend of Duncan racing filing her fingernails sitting on a tailgate of their truck and said if I were you I'd get on that little motorbike of yours which was my Harley Sportster I bought from Hughes ...and she said fire it up and go as fast as I could back to home and hide out for a few days because there's about 30 of them down there with tire tools and chains and they're looking for you .. .hehe but yeah I think I'd look into it if I were you and see what KTM can do about setting up a Maico 700...for a moto x demo bike. And both you and the company agree on that it will remain as their property on advertising campaign and hell you travel all over the United States for the years out you can take that thing with you and do what you would agree to as advertising it for the company.... When Harley-Davidson went down to Daytona the first time with that mx250 let all the pro riders got to test it as much as they wanted to during that whole week.... Thats how my buddy Brad Lake got to ride it he was the Maico USA importer , dealer and factory rider for Maico and he was also sponsored on an Ossa Phantom 250 at the time ...don't have a clue where he is today that I'd like to show him about what you've done here

Well......what do you say about the most insane motocross bike available? It scares even the most seasoned of riders....which is a good thing.....because when a bike can actually put fear into you thru its sheer horsepower, torque and velocity and speed......you will have a great respect for the machine that is capable of that. And the relationship will grow and inspire and great times will be had! Much love Kaplans.

Kaplan, when you used the pipe for a horn I thought, damn Kap should audition for the next "Wolverine" role. The fact he loved riding his bike and the way you ride, all you need is a hair more gruff in your voice... you'd be perfect. I'd definitely watch.😂😂😂
Intelligent move by greasing everything that should be lubed with a grease. I have used assembly lube on the axles. A thick very sticky lube. So many people never lube areas that should be. But oh well. It’s wonderful to see Maico back in business. They sure went through a lot. From German to a Dutch ownership to a British ownership & now back to Germany. The brother’s should have gotten along better but business & political views broke up one of the finest motocross, street & off road road manufacturing businesses in the world. Love to see Maicon& CZ come back as a powerhouses.
Very interesting history to this good to hear of heartfelt hand built motorcycles. Nice to see someone else who greases everything keeps the muck out an everything comes apart later, each upload has a nugget of why your successful great stuff, fab Maico for me to ride it I'd have to fit a small rear cog an a bodywork downforce kit a fuel tank seat then I could probably open it up with less loop concerns, It'd do 150 mph theoretically. I had a friend who did driver training for Porsche often thought 500 cc two stroke crossers need the same the few I've ridden I spent more time trying to stop it gettin away from me, I was quicker on an older 250 an safer on a 125 an that was just trail rideing an field work got to hand it to those with the skills who've ridden through the ranks to get the abilities to ride 500 s. I peel the seals off the "sealed" bearings and add Redline or Maxima grease in the bearings...every few years do the same...never replace wheel bearings!!
Looks like a round slide mikuni.. Ide rip that thing off and put a flat side in.. That was the best quik upgrade i did on a banshee i have.. Im dying to hear it tuned up and rippin
Love the channel! pick up some Ray-Ban Smart Glasses or something similar for filming while on the tools, you would get a stable shot and have both hands free.
Road ride video, woods riding footy, then how about a Full Send at the Wick…we want Video…then, call in the Sandman, Junkyard Dog for an sample & opinion. I feel that would make for an epic video series that would be seriously interesting! Just my thoughts.
