Lowe’s family provides support after Arkansas tornado

Each year, natural disasters have a devastating impact on communities Lowe’s serves. Lowe’s employees are often among those hit the hardest. In April 2014, a tornado with winds near 200 mph destroyed Lowe’s employee Shawn Riddle’s home in Vilonia, Arkansas. Help was quickly on the way.
Riddle received assistance from the Lowe’s Employee Relief Fund to pay for medical bills and secure the peace of mind his family needed to start over. Since 1999, the fund has distributed more than $26 million in financial assistance to help more than 23,000 Lowe’s employees and their families.
