    Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge about Canva. I've learned alot. I am a newbie and wanted to know about Canva. I graduated from Computer Science year 1999 but was'nt able to make used of what I learned from school. I was introduced to graphic designing when I did my apprenticeship using Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw. It was a short learning but my experiences etched my mind. Loved doing it. Til I graduated from college and pursued to being a graphic artist but due to financial difficulties way back I wasn't able to apply what I love to do. I ended up working in a BPO industry as a CSR until 2015 'coz I got pregnant then. Now, that my husband's income is unstable due to the pandemic I decided to do freelancing by going back to my first love and that is being a graphic artist. I am learning again and I consider myself blessed to have bumped into your videos about Canva. Your tutorials are far the best I've encountered. Your videos are gems to me. The effort you've shown is awesome. Again thank you Natalia. Your new subscriber here. Wish you more success and God bless you!!

    Great video- Thank you - switching out from Movavi and OpenShot -- was thinking of using DaVinci next, but they are all way to much for what I do, and I think Canva is fantastic. One question you and your viewes may have come across... My original videos are 3-5Gb ( shot in phone or camera) and I can not upload them into Canva as it only takes 1Gb files -- How do shoot and make the videos smaller? Thanks in advance and THANK YOU for your videos!

    Hi @NataliaKalinska I'm wkrking on a video project for work and have run into a few barriers. Do you know how to edit videos to have the main video remain as the voiceover and to remain thruout the entire length and have short cutclips appear within? I've tried this in Vimeo and it did not turn out like I wanted! Please let me know your thoughts. Feel free to reach back out I'd appreciate it.😊

    • @NataliaKalinska

      I think the best way would be to extract the audio and add it separately into Canva, then start overlaying on top of it. I do have to admit though, Canva is not the best solution here. I think it might be easier to do in apps like CapCut, Descript or even DaVinci Resolve 🙏🏻

    You give the best explanations! I'm curious - is it possible to edit entire videos (eg TH-cam)? Does Canva support that big of a file?

    • @NataliaKalinska
      @NataliaKalinska  ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad to hear it, Radmila! Thank you ✨ It is possible to edit full videos, but there are some limitations in terms of the size and length of the video. Please take a look here: www.canva.com/en_gb/help/upload-formats-requirements/. To sum up, you can only upload files that are less than 1GB in size. Canva Free users also have to compress the file if it’s between 250MB to 1GB. There are also general storage limits to take into consideration. Free users have 5GB overall storage available, while for Pro users it's 1TB. Definitely not easy to manage with larger files 😉
      With some workarounds, it is definitely possible and Canva is easy to use. As an alternative, you could try apps like CapCut, DaVinci Resolve (free) or Descript (paid) for a much easier workflow.

    Thank you for the tutorial. What happens if you upload file sizes over 1GB into Canva? The website says that 1GB is the limit for the Pro account. I'm hoping to repurpose my long form content into TH-cam shorts by using Canva as my editor instead of Final Cut. However, my video files for the long form content are often over 3GB due to being in 4K.

    I really appreciate your tutorial videos and have learnt a lot from them One suggestion I would make. Is there any way the sub titles with your words can be placed so it does not block what you are demonstrating at the bottom of the screen. For example the timeline was hidden for most of this video.

    • @NataliaKalinska
      @NataliaKalinska  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m so happy to hear it Ray and thank you for watching! 🙌✨ Unfortunately, I don’t have any control over the placement of the subtitles and it’s the default position chosen by TH-cam. I do realize it can be bothersome and I’m trying to record so that this area is generally not showing anything important but sometimes it’s just impossible. I’m sorry it’s not allowing you to see the whole thing properly!

    Couple of questions.. I'm currently using finalcut/imovie, and the files are super large. What is the use case for canva compared to a dedicated editor? I could see creating animations in canva and using in finalcut, but not the other way around? Also, on the last page of your video it was asking you to connect your social media account for the copyrighted music. Have you played with that at all. I'd like to use epidemic sound that is now available within canva, but not sure how to use that within finalcut? Or if that's even an option. Thanks for the video.

    • @NataliaKalinska

      You can choose the resolution from the Create a Design button on the homepage. Any design can become a video if you add a video to it. So if you’d like a square Instagram post to be a video, you can select it from the homepage and add any video from your Uploads or the Elements tab. I hope it helps! 😊

    Nowhere did I see you crop a video, which a lot of people are trying to find out how to do on youtube, and no one shows how to do that properly. they leave out steps like how you fill the entire screen after you.crop it.

    • @NataliaKalinska
      @NataliaKalinska  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not quite sure I understand what you’re trying to do but I’d be happy to help if you could explain it further. Feel free drop me a message on Instagram if you want to add a visual. If it’s a simple cropping, you do it by dragging the sides of the video. Once you’ve cropped it to the desired size, you drag the corners to fill the entire screen. If the ratio is not the same as the canvas, you may need to stretch the video beyond the boundaries to make it fill completely. I hope that’s what you were looking for :)
