- Testing the new soft Nitromousse from Nutech. Mousses are a solid foam tube that replaces a traditional air filled rubber tube and eliminates any chance of getting a flat. I've been wanting to make the switch from HD tubes to mousses for a while and now I have I don't know why it took me so long. The added traction is great and I have the piece of mind knowing I will never get a flat on remote mountain rides makes the Mousses the best choice for me. I also go over what tires I'm using and why I won't be getting the Go Pro Hero 8 camera.

I’ve been running tubeless for about a year and I’m so sick of checking air pressures and my front always leaks and I can’t get it to hold air for more that a day. I’m ordering the soft nitro mousses today!
I have Rabaconda envy. Looks like one of those tools you got to get your head around spending the money but once you do you're glad you did. I like the Kenda Washougal 2 front tire. Consistent feel and doesn't chunk in the rocks.
Older GoPro batteries are compatible with the Hero 8, just with slightly received features. Nobody seems to know what features you lose, though, and mine works fine w older batteries. Battery life almost seems better on the 8 vs 7, but only slightly.
Also, I highly recommend the GT216AA Fatty for our terrain. It lasts twice as long as the Shinko fatty, and is a full 2 pounds lighter. That’s like a kilogram or some such nonsense. ;)

I run Shinko 216 fatty with tubliss on front at 6-8psi, and Michelin Starcross medium with nitro mousse on rear. Works well for the Aussie bush, where you can find jagged rocks one minute then around the next corner greasy slick red clay.
Yup gummy for life irc v33s 👌🏻and m59 for front love it seems to do everything well!
my exact setup. So far very happy with it. I have a set with tubliss and a set with mousses that I go back and forth with.

That is the big thing holding me back. If I could afford a set of wheels for just hard enduro, that would be my set up.
@@markmtbrider I'm 11 months in on a 120 18" mousse and it now gives me a 6 psi feel when installed in a 110 18" rear tire. Get a regular mousse and use it for a year, then you have a soft mousse.
4 flats this year for me and I pretty much tired of it. I’m installing a nitro mousse as well for next season

M59 is a great tire. Tracks good. Great at speed. Goes where you want it.
Shinko 525 rear or 505 in the summer, Shinko 216 Fatty front. Best performance and durability for the $. Double tubes - standard tube wrapped in old tube sliced down the center. Never an issue.
Fuzzktm i saw a youtube video with an older endurorider, he lubed his heavy duty tubes with grease and had not got a single puncture since he started doing that. Might be worth a try, saves some weight compared to double tubes.

In the rear I've got the same Shinko 525 tire with a Tubliss set up. In the front I'm running the Shinko 216 MX Fatty with Tubliss. I've really loved this set up. I keep the rear tire at 6 PSI and the front at about 8-10 depending on conditions. I've found with the Tubliss set up the key to consistency is the inner bladder. I learned the hard way that when a Tubliss tire is leaking it is usually that the inner bladder has gotten below the 80-110 psi threshold. By checking the inner bladder and tires before each ride I've since insured I didn't have an issue. I'm definitely interested in trying out a Mousse when the opportunity presents itself.
The new Tusk Talon, front and rear are my choice.
I personally run tubliss front and rear. If you install them correctly, and make sure everything is clean before seating the tire, they’re pretty much issue free. I just like that I can run whatever tire psi I want whenever I want. If we get out and it’s a sloppy slick mess, I can go down to 3 psi in the rear and 6 up front. If we get out and it’s dry or we’re going to be ripping fast stuff, I can run more, and anything in between and I’m safe. I have considered trying the soft mouse though for the consistency. We shall see. As far as tires go. For the front there are 2. The Bridgestone m59 or the goldentyre gt216aa. The Shinto is NOT the same as the goldentyre. I personally avoid the fatty. It’s cool for slow speed rock stuff but trash everywhere else. 80/100 or 90/90. Next I’m going to try the Mitas C19 green stripe front. Currently use the VE33s gekotta rear. It’s fantastic
Good to see that you’re back out in the dirt and finally able to give those new mousses a proper test! I’m currently running a Maxxis ST tire (which I picked up last minute on my way to a race last year) and I’ve been running it ever since! 😂 it’s still got some life left but I noticed that the side knobs are starting to go and it’s deflecting off of harder obstacles a lot more now so I decided it was time to order up a new tyre! I also want to try something different and so I ordered a Golden Tyre fatty front (GT216 AA). Ive heard that these work well in rocky, roots terrain so keen to try it out! I’ve had the same Enduro Mousse in there since the 2018 Monkey Wrench so we’ll see if that’s still ok or if it’s time for a new mousse too (I hope not as it’s broken in perfectly)! We should ride soon, cheers!
Been using Mousse for about 3 yrs. I would not use a soft in the front, a good tire in the front and a psi of 12 via standard nitro is fine Currently running a gummi rear with standard mousse and found it wasn't quite as grippy as TUbliss, but it was a new mousse. These generally soften reasonably quick so I'm trying to decide if I should go to a soft rear mousse or not. Unless you are doing super tech stuff that is steep, a standard would probably be fine. Previous set of tires/mousse's I ran was Michelin Starcross 5's and Michelin mousse....much preferred that over nitro mousse paired with Dunlop 81's....

Brynn Jones from an amateur’s point of view it definitely didn’t look like cruising speed. But for a good rider it might be different
I'm trying a new shinko 525 cheater for a 19 inch rear wheel. I'm running a thin light weight tube. 8 psi. On the front shinko mx216 fatty also lightweight tube.I just installed a fresh hour meter just to count the hours. Just to give ya a idea, in 40 years of riding dirtbikes, I've never had a flat tire. Lots of big round bowling ball rocks and loam and sandy gravel here, and when I do get into rocky rides in the Canadian shield's mountains, max speed if I'm lucky is 2nd gear..

Thanks, Tubliss are not bad and people love them, they are just not for me. I never adjust tire pressure mid ride so the only downside of Mousses for me is the cost to replace them.

It will vary depending on how/where you ride and how often you re-lube them. I'm hoping to get half a year on a set but we shall see.

Standard mousse front and rear. Front Golden tyre 216AA 80/100-21, Rear golden tyre 333 120/100-18. Rear tracks really well in PNW, I put on the front with a used mousse so hard to tell the handling. Right now it’s way to soft. Would like to try a brand new mousse in the front. 👍🏻 really like the mousses in general ran them for 1000s of miles in all conditions. Baja, Cali mountains, Highway/road and PNW riding.
Using the standard nitromousse's myself....rear seems a bit stiff, but ok....best benefit of a mousse beside's flat prevention is not having to check air pressure b4 every ride....rabaconda FTW!... makes install easy... went with hero8 myself (from a hero 3+), video is great, lack of an external mic option is shit... cheers!... thoroughly enjoy the vids. 👍
So how much did the standard mousse soften up over time and how any hours did you get out of them?
Hey mate, what sort of usage did you get out of the mousses? Mine have gone dead after 30hrs and 800kms. I've changed 3 rear tyres in that time frame so there was plenty of lube. I'm surprised that they have died so quickly.
The rear 100 hours. I think it was around 60 on the front.
I run the irc ix-09 on my rear super gummy loving it so far and front is the bridge stone battlecross x31 it seems good but I've only gotten 2 rides on it and my tubliss isn't good on the front as soon as u slap the front it goes flat but the rear I've had 0 problems I'm probably going nitro mouse on the front and tubliss on the back
Perfect timing. I was thinking about putting some mousses on one of my bikes. I have been reading and watching some videos. I went from heavy duty tubes to tubliss. Yea they are somewhat annoying for me with always having to top the air off with them before every ride.

Rode for years on heavy-duty tubes, then tried Tubliss for a year and now I have soft Nitromousse front and back. Love this set up! No flats and lots of traction. Will not go back to tubes or Tubliss. Had 2 flats with Tubliss that couldn’t be repaired so I changed for soft mousses.
That is my thinking, zero chance of a flat. I never got a lot of flats with tubes but always worried about it happening 30 miles from the truck.
I have the Enduromouse and they are awesome. Best money ever spent, 0 headaches!
I’ve used a few front tires and so far my favourite is the Bridgestone M59. Use a nitro mousse in it. Rear I use a Mitas ef-07 single green 140/80/18 with a 120 enduro mousse. Over 100 hrs on that mousse and it’s still good. I ride the same type of terrain, also in the pnw
Steve Jones same love the m59 run a tube tho seem to only get flats in the rear but I’m about one flat away from a mousse lol
After seeing this video and getting an honest review of the nitro mouse I had to subscribe!!! This helped reassure me that making a change to a mouse from a tube is going to be worth it! Thank you so much kepp on spreading it!!
Ive been using nitros for over 2 years. The original nitros I was getting 100 hours before replacing them. They shrunk over time and just got too soft. Ive run a few soft rear nitros and the performance is great but i was only getting 30 hours on them before they shred apart. I ride rocky terrain so they take a beating.
Im now running platinums so we'll see how those hold up.
I suggest trying the m59 front tire with the 235 platinum nitro. You won't be disappointed.
M59 is by far the most popular front tire around here. I've used them in the past and thought they were okay but not my favorite. I'll look into the platinum if the soft front doesn't hold up.
BergTE300 30 hours on the soft nitro mousse? Were they lubricated enough? Done a lot of high speed with them? I have over 50 hours on them and they are in excellent shape. No highways, just slow to medium speed in rough terrain.
30 hrs is the lowest I’ve heard of.
How well lubed were they when you removed them?
Mitas Terra Force EF Super Light front and rear (single green stripe) with TuBliss which I have never had an issue with in 150hrs over the last 5 months and more than a few tire changes.
Everyone tells me I am dumb... un sprung weight blah, blah, blah but I double up tubes. I'm just a weekend trail rider with my son but I like to get it. If the few extra pounds makes a difference with handling I dont notice it. Basically I take a tube I have patched in the past and cut the center out and wrap it around the new tube and install. Basically a hillbilly heavy duty tube. I used to be a 12-13 psi guy nervous about getting a trail flat. With this I run 8ish front and back and have never gotten a pinch flat. Am I the only one that does this? Maybe if I ran two bikes in a row, one with and one without I might notice a difference but I'm guessing not.
I've heard of people doing that too. I am just switching back to tubes on the front wheel and may go this route as well.
I've been using heavy duty tubes for decades with little to no issues. I just put on a fresh set of knobs. Battlecross X20 up front and Motoz Arena Hybrid (non-gummy) in the rear. First ride on fresh knobs tomorrow, and right after a big rain storm too! It's going to be a muddy SoB, but I am excited!
I've used the X30 for years and is a really good tire, but I found the X20 to be better in the sloppy/snowy conditions I mostly ride in. I will keep my half worn X30 for summertime when it's dry and more hard-packed.
I just switched to tubeless on a new bike after years with UHD tubes.They seem alright, no complaints, and they are way lighter than tubes. I haven't pushed in any gnarly terrain or messed with ultra low pressures, yet. For tires I've been using the GT216AA fatty in front, but they seem to be unavailable lately so I switched to the shinko 216 fatty up front. No complaints, I love the fat tires in general. In the back I've got an old school mt16. They seem to work good on everything, but I would love to try the shinko 505 or 525.
MT16 was my go-to tire before gummys came out. Great tire, I never saw anyone else using them though.

I use a kenda equilibrium on back and kenda track master on front with heavy duty tubes, 8-10lbs in back about 12 in front
When I selected this, I didn't know it was one of yours. I'm trying to decide whether I want to convert to mousses or not. questions 1) do you still run the soft up front, or have you gone to the 12-psi version? I would assume you still run the 6-psi in the rear. 2) Have you tried any of the other brands, if so, which do you prefer?
I always run the same tires on the bike I'm considering the mousse on, Shinko MX 216 Cheater in from and an IRC JX8 in the rear.
I did also try the regular Nitro on the KTM. I preferred the soft but they don't last very long on the front. It's good on the rear wheel because traction just gets better as it gets softer. When I bought the Sherco I had soft rear and regular front and I struggled to get the front end feeling anywhere near as good as the other Sherco's I had ridden. I switched to a worn out soft front which was better then actually ran a HD tube for some time which felt even better. My current setup is soft Nitro on the rear which has a wedge in it as well, this made a big improvement on the older mousse performance, and on the front I'm running the SRT mousse which is said to have a 10-12 feel. I'm happy with the SRT on the front now. I've also found there seems to be some inconsistency with the sizing on the Nitro Mousse product.
What a beautiful trail set! Wish my area had more flowy stuff and less hard core technical stuff. Sometimes you just want to flow it out.

I run a shinko 216 mx fat tyre up front (I do not recommend) but I use same rear as you the 525 is AMAZING IN EVERY CONDITION!!! I love that thing
I had been using the 505 rear mostly but I prefer the better feel when braking you get with the 525 so I may stick with it for now.

To answer your questions, I run regular tubes and have always just run a cheap mud tire on the front... whatever I find for cheap at my local store. For the rear, my all time favorite was the Pirelli MT44 Lagunacross which seemed perfect for my riding style and where I would ride. Unfortunately, it is no longer available.

You may like the Pirelli MT16 as a substitute. I was not planning on doing an install video as many people already have. Megs Braap has a good install video on her channel.
Do you have one or two rim locks with the soft mousse? Many soft mousses come with instructions to install two rim locks. Just doubting to drill another hole in my rim :)
I just use one rim lock and have never had a problem.

I know this is an older video but are you still running these? What’s in your tires these days. My fav are X30 front and IRC VE33S rear; about to switch to NitroMousse from HD tubes.
My setup now is IRC VX30 front with an SRT mousse. The Nitro soft front is good but does not last long, I Was not not a fan of the regular Nitro as it was too hard and deflected a lot. There is also some inconsistencies with the sizing of the Nitro's. On the rear I still use the Nitro soft, as it gets older I add wedges from an old mousse to fill the tire carcass fully. For rear tires I use the IRC JX8 in the wet season and the VE33S in the dry season.

Front: Michelin enduro medium 90/100 with mousse. Rear: mitas xt754 super light for winter slop with mitas mousse. Not found a rear I like for the rest of the time. Tried Michelin enduro medium (before the revise), vee rubber 211, Michelin ac10.
Tried tubliss for 2 years. Waste of money with too many failures. Should have gone to mousses earlier.
Biggest waste of money is the Shinko 216 fatty front with mousse. All side knobs were hanging by a thread after 4 rides. Tried the fatty for the jagged rock rides on the other side of the mtns. Been kicking the VE35 front: love it, great on wet roots and logs, lasts a loooong time (100hours min) and they are only $50. Going to try the M59 next.
Damn, 100 hours on a tire? I'm changing them at 30-40.

I have tubliss on the 2 stroke and tubes on the 4 stroke. I got caught twice this season with a flat with the tubes. I am thinking of going mousse in the front and tubliss on the back. I got the tubliss installed at the dealer when I bought it and 3 hours after I received the bike, both tires were flat. To this day, I have to put air in the front tire before every ride. After I swapped the rear tire and had it installed properly, the tubliss never leaked again.. I am due for 2 new tires so I will see how the front fares with it being properly installed. If she leaks, gonng go mousse in the front on the 2 stroke as well.
Some brands of tires don't work well with Tubliss, and some shops aren't aware of that when they sell us them. I'm kinda surprised by that. Example: My local shop heavily recommends Goldentyre for Tubliss, but does not recommend Motoz. I've moved from Tubliss to mousse because of occasional flat tire issues, and I'm glad that I have. Especially for the front. Mousse is best choice for front. Tubliss is great on back if you want PSI perfection, but I like the no-stress of mousse on the back too.
Since I posted that comment, I went full blown mousse.. I had a few issues with flats even with Tubliss.. I have very rocky terrain in some of the trails I used.. That, combined with the low pressure, tore my tires apart.. Mid season last year I switched to mousse.. It's more pricey, but, the peace of mind is worth it. .
Did you ever try the IRC vx30 front? (size?) And how'd you like it, especially compared to the m59? I run gt216 in 90/90 and looking for a change. VE33S on rear...
I have the VX30 front on now and it’s probably the best front tire I’ve used so far. I’ll be trying the M5B evo front next. Both only come in 80/100\21.

Pirelli Scorpion XCMH Front, Pirelli MT43 Rear Standard Nitro Mousses on my dual sport, well over 1000 miles of mixed on and off road, still feel great, they have leaked some of the mounting compound. Will see how they look at my next tire change. I like the piece of mind, the traction advantages and not having to carry tire tools. Nice for hooligan riding in the city not to have to worry about flats!

I would be interested in a comparison between the Bridgestone Battlecross that you are running now and the Bridgestone M59. That is one of the most confidence inspiring fronts I have run, followed closely by the standard (non fatty) Golden tyre front.
I think they are similar in performance but I prefer the x30 over the m59. m59 is the most popular tire around here though.

@Cathy This was back when I had the GoPro Hero 7 Black, trying to remember. I think I was switching from 60fps to 30fps as I feel it portrays the speed better. I'm using the GoPro Hero 9 Black now.

Careful with really high speed or punching logs and rocks with your front I bent my front spokes using soft mousse
Yeah I was debating getting a standard for the front but wanted to avoid the dead feeling people say they have. I don't do much high speed riding anyway so the soft feels okay so far.
PNW Enduro works great In slower riding nitro soft works better on off camber I never had a dead feeling on either standard or soft nitro mousses

Tubliss front and rear with mitas xt754 rear tyre (amazing in mud) and Pirelli scorpion front. Love this set up. Yes tubliss losses some pressure between rides but it takes 2 minutes to top the pressure up and then have simply the best traction possible available!Those moosses you have there look almost like the compromise that could convert me to using a moose. A few friends run Michelin ones and they’re total crap unless you ride in the summer. They end up either buying the smaller size than recommended as to not fill the tyre so much or just patiently wait for them to wear out before they get grip

I run the shinko 546 fatty up front and I love it. Digs in nicely and works well at low pressures.
What do you figure the life span will be of the mousses or is it mice?

Looking at mousse bibs to mount with the new tires. Picked up Bridgestone M59 front and Shinko 525 cheater rear. Any bibs to stay away from?
I've only used the Nutech brand mousses so far so I can't really comment on the other brands. One thing I will say is I feel the mousse listed on the size chart for the M59 is too big IMO making it really hard to mount and too stiff when mounted. I go one size smaller if I'm using that tire. It won't last as long but the performance is better.

Starcross 5 medium 80/100 up front for me in the interior. Excellent feel and turns like a scalpel. Running tubliss at 13.5psi. Thanks looking to try Mouse in the rear with Shinko525 or Mitas xt754 green
Drop psi. Down in the back to 5 - 8 lbs. Huge difference.
Check out Jeff Slavens tire selections and chart of pressures to run on given tires. Also has proper Moose/ Bib size selection for given tire
Been thinking about running these, question is can you really feel a difference as in do they feel dead like a lot of people say? Really want to try them just afraid I won’t like the feeling?
Personally I don't notice a "dead feel" with them. The Nitro Mousse is said to have less of that feeling than other brands.

For me it's simple. You can't get a flat with Mousses. I know a lot of people swear by Tubliss but it's just not for me.
I just started using the Shinko MX216 Series front tire. Hooks up nice with the nitro soft mousse insert. Tried the fatty shinko on my 350 and found the steering was a little heavy. I have given up on the tubliss. Can't seem to hold a seal with the tubliss.
I tried the MX216 once, after six or seven rides it was destroyed. Never again.
@@PNWEnduro I've only got 3 rides on the shinko. Seems to be holding up okay so far. The at81's that come with our bikes are okay too.
First choice front tire: Goldentyre GT216AA Fatty. Second choice: Shinko MX216 Fatty (effectively the same tire). Run them both with Mousse. Switched from Tubliss about a year ago because of flats and I'm never going back. Ride SoCal mountains and deserts, so we do have lots of sharp rocks and cactus and I've had to end a few rides early with the Tubliss. Have had zero issues with Mousse and like the feel. Can't dial the PSI perfectly like I could with Tubliss, but I'll take the trade of zero flats ever (mousse) versus PSI perfection and occasional flat issues (tubliss). Back tire is Goldentyre GT333 or Shinko 505. May try Motoz on both one of these days, but really love Goldentyre.

PNW Enduro About 3,5 kg. But you can’t tell the difference on the rear, never tested on the front. For more info you should check “hard enduro media” (alias ktm eurotek uk) on facebook. I’ll be posting some video as well
Would you still remember these moose’s after using them for over a year now?
Yes, I've gone through a few of them now. The rear soft is good and I can get about 100 hours on them before they get too worn. On the front I have switched back to a HD tube because the mousse can't rebound to hitting rocks/roots like air can so the front end feels better with air. I may try another brand on the front as getting a flat is always a concern.

I have a Michelin in the front right now. Performance is my main concern. Not too worried about longevity.
did you change because you wanted less flats or wanted more performance? I rarely get flats but would love more traction. I run 12 psi front and back with HD tubes in my area where its a little faster terrain , scared to go much lower. I know everything is a trade off.

Well both really. Mostly so I don't have to worry about getting a flat when I'm in the middle of nowhere. Better traction is a bonus.
Switched from GT fatty front to Ibex gummy 80/100, love it, so stoked for our local trails, all the same your riding plus our offgrid on WA side, so much more nimble and gummy traction over roots/rocks gnar, turns way better, wearing good, but this is a slow speed set up, also a shinko 505/525 rear guy, but giving a run on the ibex rear now, and going to try the motoz arena gummy next, if they don't seem signifigantly better for the money, back to the go to shinko rear's!
Always good to try other options. I hear the gummy At81 is great as well but I can't see it being that much better to justify spending almost twice as much as a Shinko.

Tubliss 2 in the rear all the way. Just love changing the presure as needed for the ride. Dual sport, mx ,slow enduro, it has it all covered, and seeming with any tire I want to stick back there. Just keep dropping the presure 2psi until she hooks..525 extreme ,PT 16 , STARRCROSS 5 , Kenda southwick 2 and now the Tusk recon working well. The front is a bit trickier, still running an ultra heavy tube and a 546 fatty ,Michelin fatty.....May swap to a front Ibex and tubliss2 this next time.
markmtbrider but when you do a puncture that can’t be repaired (happen to me twice in a few months) you will hoping that you gone with a mousse...believe me!
@@doug_EX for sure.all depends on what kind of rider you are and where you ride...if you are constantly having flats no matter you try, the mousee could be your best bet.

I think that’s gonna be my next purchase. I’ve been running a Michelin moose with 300 hours on it and it’s perfect. I don’t want to go back to new hard moose because I’ll lose too much traction I’m glad to hear you got 200 hours out of the plush model. Is there a certain plush soft model that you recommend over another one? Thanks.
It's just the Nitromousse plush, they only make two, plush and regular (platinum).

Was running gen 1 mousse in both. Irc 35 front and ve33s in rear. Switching to regular upfront and soft in the rear now.
Let me know how it works with the ve33s, I just put one on and am having trouble keeping the bead fully seated.

Did the soft front almost seem too small for the tire? I almost thought they may have sent me the wrong one. It slipped right in the tire without any effort, and it wanted to come out as I was mounting it on the rim... I still have one section of bead that won't seat even after a ride, might have to try compressed air through the valve stem hole
Yes it did seem small, I had to give it a shot of compressed air to seat the bead as well. Also important to plug the hole in the rim after to keep debris out of there.
FYI some nitros come undersized. If you can’t get the bead to seat, then you might have a mousse that is too small for your tire.
I"m building up a new 500exc for dual sport riding. Can I use the soft mousse for limited highway use?

What do guys run if they do very little pavement maybe 30 miles at a stretch andwant a inner tube alternative ?

@@PNWEnduro man. Not what I wanted to hear. I’m thinking of switching you mousses, but I feel the standard may be too hard and the soft once broken in may be too soft. Standard May not be too horrible inside This m5b evo front, but I just don’t know. I know the tire itself is a really good one on tubliss, but here recently I’ve had a couple flats I have had to plug on tubliss and both have been a very long way from the truck. That’d be a crappy limp back if I ever were to have one I couldn’t plug on flat even tho it wouldn’t hurt anything. Idk in torn on this mousse Shìt. The rear doesn’t bother me as much as the front. I had have ran them in the past, but it’s been so long and I really didn’t give the front long enough to really form an opinion.

No, just the camera mic's. Camera is on a chin mount.
In my expierience, its hard to beat an M59.

No they last for several tires. You have to re-lube them when you change tires to make them last longer.

I agree with you about the Shinko tire is back, but I also run them in front. I live in Central Utah and prefer the Shinko; SX216 and F246. These tires are a perfect match to the other Shinko gummy tires. I run the "90" aspect version on both.
I've been running tubliss for about 3 years now, just make sure you clean and tape the wheel really well and follow the directions for install. I found using googone work wonders at removing and installing tires, plus it is exceptional at cleaning Plastics. 4 tires I really like the Shinko fatty for the front and have been running the Shinko SX 216 in the rear with amazing performance. I am a lightweight Rider and am able to get away with 6 lb of pressure in the front and 4 lb in the rear when conditions require it.
Get the shinko cheater fatty front it’s amazing. Tublis for years no prob. Run the 505 120 rear shinko cheater.

I have a Kenda equalibrium (hope I spelled that right, wouldn't come up on voice text) on the rear, it's like a trials in the middle and knobby on the sides and a Kenda Trackmaster on the front, both nice and gummy with hd tubes, don't see how a mousse makes tire fit right on rim,???, 🙄 I've never had a flat with tubes, never worried about it and I be ridden a lot of rock trails over the years, think I will stick with it, too old school I guess

You have to make sure to get the correct size mousse for the tire you use and sometimes they just need a shot of air after you spoon them on just to get the bead to seat.
PNW Enduro do you put a cap on the hole afterwards to prevent the lubricant getting out of the tire?
Yes, keeps the lube in and dirt/water out.
PNW Enduro I put one too but from the inside of the rim so it doesn’t fall of.
