GuitarEveryone...how this "takes me back"! Fantastic! I did not realize you had a channel...and am so glad I found it! This is "perfect example" of that wonderful style that takes us to the mid 1940's/early 1950's era reminiscent of players such as Sammy Pruett (Hank Williams), Leon Rhodes (Ernest Tubb), Grady Martin, Hank Garland, Billy Byrd and other greats. I so enjoyed your playing...as I haven't "heard" this style in quite a while performed so very well! I am going to "steal" that backing track to get that groove back under my fingers...and you made the Brent Mason tele sound "era correct" to a hollowbody...awesome!
Thank you Dan! I enjoyed playing that piece. The backing track sure was a lot of fun to jam to. So glad you found the channel. You can get some great tones from the BM tele with that mini humbucker. If I accidentally tap it with my pick though it will come through the amp because it’s microphonic as I mentioned . But I believe that pickup is designed that way and one of the reasons that it offers more clarity. All the pickups are Seymour Duncan. I am so humbled by your comments. I so much enjoy watching your channel and hearing your stories. Your playing inspires me sir. Until next time.
Too Awesome! I am new to the style in terms of playing it but not appreciating it. Can you tell me what scales you were basing your soloing phrases off of? Thanks in advance!
Thank you for watching! I playing mostly out of the C major scale here other than certain licks and phrases that I play from feel or memory. I'm totally self taught so I really can't translate what I play because I have no education in music at all.

Any tab available?
No I’m sorry but there’s no tab available. It was totally improvised on the spot and I don’t write tab.
