Cheers mate... Schlanders has some great trails... There was a bit of an issue on one of them between hikers and bikers... And they managed to get an entire new trail done for bikes (from nothing, through planning and permission to built) in about six months... Amazing what can be achieved when it brings in tourism monies... :D
Hahaha... Yeah... This was from a little while ago in the Alps. Such a fun place to ride. The gimbal did take a good few hits during it's life before it eventually got too smashed up to work anymore... :D
Yeah... Been lucky I suppose... There's so many good spots around this place... Just a matter of "not enough time and not enough money" to get to them... Story of life I suppose!
Very interesting trail with lots of narrow twisty sections along steep slopes. After 2:25 it got really nice all the way down. Why were those other guys walking?
Yeah.. It's a really fun trail. The Alps are a magic place to ride. I think they were what we call "dirt roadies" And bit off a little more than they could chew. A lot of people go to the Alps to just cycle, and not to smash trails, and this one starts really mellow which may have lulled them into a false sense of security. Or... We could have just really spooked them with the way we ran up behind them and they wanted to get out our way and get on with their peaceful ride... :D
Little throw-back to the trip to Schlanders in the South Tirol... Good times with Nic and Schlonky! :D

very nice trail. looks pretty techy to me.
Some bits get a bit rowdy, but it's just a super fun trail for the most part. There's a good few good 'uns in Schlanders. It's a nice spot to ride.
