Part c q.8 give a counter example A=[1] and B=[0] so eigen value of A and B are 1and 0 respectively and option C also says tha if lambda is eigen value of A or B then eigen value of C how can discard option c of by this example

You have to take quadratic form which in form of x^2 and y^2.
x +y is linear not quadratic
