I don’t know how I found your channel, I wasn’t looking for food, and TH-cam did not suggest it. Somehow I stumbled onto it, and I believe the Lord lead me to it.😊 this channel is exactly what I needed, a Christian-based home cooking videos! My health was not that great due to processed and fast food for years. My adult son that lives with me is having the same health issues and I’m trying to bring more home, cooking into his diet along with mine . Problem is he didn’t like my home cooking!😂 So, watching Maw make her delicious recipes, I can do this!! I made the potato salad exactly like maw made hers and it was so delicious! Now I’m making the macaroni salad. I couldn’t find any Hudsons cream flour in my area, so I went on their website and ordered straight from the mill!! My order comes in Friday, I can’t wait to make chicken and dumplings!😊 I also let them know where I first heard about Hudsons cream flower products!!👍 Walking tacos? Never heard of them. What a great idea!! I have heard of taco salad, but I’m not sure how to make it. I can’t wait for the meatloaf video, we usually purchased Stouffer’s meatloaf in the frozen section at the grocery store. All the meatloaf I’ve ever tried failed, and no one would eat it😂🤷🏼♀️ I would like to follow you over on Facebook! I miss my Maw, it's nothing like the older generation teaching the younger generation. My Maw out lived 2 husband's, she did her own garden, she had chickens. A couple cows. A pig she fatten up with left over scraps. She canned, made fried pies, she had Breakfast, Super, and Dinner. Even with all that food, no one gain alot of weight because they was to busy tending to the land, animals and such. she was a strong woman, taught her grandchildren even how to make quilts. Just got on your channel last night I'm from Texas, originally Oklahoma ,Southern girl I have a daughter and. Watching you and your cooking and your grandson it just does my heart good It reminds me when I was a little girl in Oklahoma My grandparents are with the Lord Now , So is my mom practically all of my family. I have a sister in law . my daughter and I live in Texas the only 2 people of the family that live in Texas. I have a cousin somewhere else and Texas most of my family is in Oklahoma .but my daughter's life is here so I stay with her here.
When covid hit my church closed down too. My Saturday morning Bible study group of ladies decided we were still going to meet remotely. It took a little trial and error but we learned how to connect every Saturday from 8am to 9:30 am. We learn so much and even though some of us have moved away we can still connect every Saturday. We like meeting through Google Meet now. It works the best for us. God Bless technology because it has really helped our group stay together and learn more about the Bible and God and one another. I love your videos.

Homemade Taco Seasoning
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt ( I use pink Himalayan Salt)
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon ground paprika
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Just got on your channel last night I'm from Texas, originally Oklahoma ,Southern girl I have a daughter and. Watching you and your cooking and your grandson it just does my heart good It reminds me when I was a little girl in Oklahoma My grandparents are with the Lord Now , So is my mom practically all of my family. I have a sister in law . my daughter and I live in Texas the only 2 people of the family that live in Texas. I have a cousin somewhere else and Texas most of my family is in Oklahoma .but
my daughter's life is here so I stay with her here.

When covid hit my church closed down too. My Saturday morning Bible study group of ladies decided we were still going to meet remotely. It took a little trial and error but we learned how to connect every Saturday from 8am to 9:30 am. We learn so much and even though some of us have moved away we can still connect every Saturday. We like meeting through Google Meet now. It works the best for us. God Bless technology because it has really helped our group stay together and learn more about the Bible and God and one another.

You mainly cook like I do in so many ways. I am 67 years old and I love to cook but now I’m down and can’t do much but God has blessed us, and he give me what energy I have to cook something every so often. I think him for his love.
