And suddenly the tape packs I bought in 1994 - 1999 appear in HD, with a voice I know only too well, and a DJ I didn't know then but know now. So this is like your VHS family memory tape, taken to a specialist, and bought back to life. Love what this channel does. What an upload. Also notice the quality of audio - this is a step up. Mic is flawless. Only comment is music was turned down a bit on the mixer - needs more depth. The combo of sound was missing some synch, epic combo though.
Now this is authentic excellent Junglist DnB in terms of tunes, selection, DJ, and MC. MC Det is a top quality original Jungle DnB (and other breakbeats), he has been on the set for decades and still puts his all into the set delivering a high Jungle MC quality. Jungle DnB HAS to have the MC on the set, it’s just that the general quality standard has gone down over the decades. Arguably Der and Navi are the last two great emcees left from the 1990s.
I must of said at the very least, once a week, all last year, that if God told me that I only have 1 day left on earth, and that I get to spend it at any show that I want, I said that I would want it to be Bladerunner. The only thing that could make it even better, would be if Spyda was on the mic for him. Ive been a junglist since 96 and have been blessed with plenty of incredible shows, but have never seen Bladerunner live, and hes my favorite dnb producer. I live in Florida, so praying and wishing for him to come here to the states is just that, prayers and wishes. When the tickets for the World of Drum n Bass tour went on sale, we immediately bought our tickets, even though the line up had'nt dropped yet. And thats ok, cuz we didnt need to know who was on the line up, bcuz we already knew it was gonna be sick asf. A few months go by and its getting closer to the date of the show, and my friend Chris, who has heard me say a 1000 times at this point that my dying wish is to dance my ass off to Bladerunner live, sends me a text saying "guess who is gonna be at the World of dnb event?" I say idk, theres so many choices lol Who? He said "Just guess. Cuz youre not gonna believe it.." Then he says "Bladerunner" I stop in my tracks and my jaw hits the ground, and I started yelling "WHAT?!?! SHUT UP!!! WHAT?!??!! SHUT UP!!! OMG!!! IS HE PHUKING WITH ME??!! ARE YOU PHUKING WITH ME??!! PLEASE DONT BE PHUKING WITH ME! ARE YOU FOR REAL???!!!" 😂😂😂 Thats the text I sent back to him, and he assured me, that he infact, was not phuking with me. 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 I started yelling OMG!!!! WHAT ARE THE CHANCES???!!!! OMG!!! etc etc etc 😅 And I am here to tell you, that it absolutely was, EEEEVERYTING AND MORE that I had hoped and wished and prayed for. He absolutely obliterated it. Blew my skull out 😂 I stayed front and center the whole time, dancing my freakn ass off and absorbed every bit of that dirty ass grimmy asf dnb 😊❤ I told him that I manifested him being here 😂😂😂 I mean REALLY- What are the chances???!!! 😂😂😂 And no, MC Spyda was not there, but for a minute there, I felt like it could actually happen, because just a few days before the event, he put out a new set, and Spyda WAS on the mic 😮 I couldnt allow myself to get too excited by thinking omgosh- does this mean that hes coming here too???!!! lol If you love his music, and ever get the chance to hear him live, DO NOT let the opportunity pass you by 😊❤
