I can understand why someone would want to "disappear" and start a new life, but I feel bad for the loved ones left behind with no closure or peace. At least let the people you care about know you're okay and want to be left alone. At least they know there was no foul play :\
Carbs Are Happiness I feel bad for those kids that were just abandoned by their mother and left to be raised by an abusive drunk while she went and happily made a new life.
Luv2LuvEm I agree! I understand that she tried to take them and he stopped her.. but still.. She could have gotten help from a family member, friend or professional to ensure the children escaped an abuser. It's selfish to leave them.
for some reason I believe that the 3rd one, Fritz, was really that he may have hit his head and had amnesia , while very rare.......his brothers didn't even buy he remembered his previous life. .. .or he just wanted the insurance money. but then why be so flamboyant if trying to hide.
Supposedly he was a drunk and abusive. If she want to run away from him I get it. But if it was drunk and abusive why would you want to leave your children with that? Pretty messed up.
The most intriguing one was Petra Pazsitka's disappearance. She was 24 y/o and in college, found 30 years later having never contacted anyone in her family during that time and said she never would. There must have been hella problems on that homefront.
Abba Dabba exactly ii think that usually comes with childhoid trauma that the family knows about but ignores. So when they grow up they resent every last one of them
Or she was the black sheep and they were glad she was gone anyway. I have a brother who goes missing for years at a time, we don't look for him, he causes too many problems in the family
Kaboom Feniz Men do this often. But difference is that men don't share a body with their child. When someone lives under your heart for months, you have an unbreakable bond. Not saying that fathers should not step up, because they absolutely should and be there for their children. But something about carrying a child creates such a closeness, that makes it harder to believe when they walk away. Any parent that would leave their children, man or woman, is a deadbeat IMO. Guess I am stubborn, but I wouldn't have wanted anything to do with that woman later in life. But to each their own.
Sounds like some selfish cold betochs in this line up..missing mom (yukon, b.c), sister who took off for no reason(germany) and lastly Agatha Christie (coward).
Another man tried to pull off the same exact thing... The disappearance was even done the same way... Cops proved he was lying. The guy is good. Get out of all your finncial and legal trouble right as shits about to hit the fan.... Yet have everyone feel bad for you haha
I have often thought of doing this, but these days it would be VERY hard with so many possibilities to be tracked down/found - internet, phones, social media ect. It was way easier to disappear back in the day.

The Bader-Johnson case may have started as a faked disappearance, but it seems to have ended as a genuine incident of total amnesia and dual-personality. Did he take on the "Fritz Johnson" identity *so well*, that he completely erased "Lawrence Bader" from his consciousness? We'll probably never know for sure.
I was thinking he suffered a brain injury while fishing or something because they medically determined he really didn't remember anything either that or just really good acting, interesting case none the less.
Brain damage is a very strong possibility here. Issues of memory and identity, and how they're stored and accessed in the gray matter, are still not well understood. (BTW, I first read about this case in Jay Robert Nash's book, AMONG THE MISSING -- a pretty good anthology of disappeared-people cases.)
Crafty MamaDuck I agree, through personal experience of two family members and a friend who suffered brain damage, that brain injury can change behaviour and personality quite dramatically.
So selfish to abandon her children to an abusive husband/father to save herself. I understand especially back then that women didn't have as much equal power and equal rights as they do today, but it was still a selfish act to vanish and not have contact for decades and to plan to die without ever contacting them, it seems. I kind of hope she feels like shit knowing her one son died not knowing anything, and not getting the closure he deserved after she abandoned him.
Under extreme condition the person might become hyper selfish, and that particular condition might alter the brain to the point that it changes irreversibly the previous feelings and emotions and end up with a different personality because of that.
FallingGalaxy I agree. What makes her think The kids are better off with her gone, now, not only do they have a lunatic for a,dad, but their mother abandoned them as well. Brilliant.
I didn't disappear but I left everyone behind and never spoke to them again. I just hate all the Drama and i hate that my own family sometimes feel some type of way about me. And I never ask them for a dime. Just leave me alone. And when i pass i don't want a funeral I just want my Husband and my four kids to split my ashes between them.
They didn't "actually" disappear. They just left a situation for another. They seemed to have disappeared to the people they used to spend time with / their families, but they were just somewhere else. So, yeah, they faked their disappearance. It looked to people as if they didn't exist anymore, but they actually did.
I can understand wanting to leave everything and start over. If, like me, you're not terribly fond of your relatives and have little to nothing in common with them, and don't feel any real connection to them, it'd be easy to walk away.
Is it sad I first learned about Agatha Christie's disappearance during an episode of Doctor Who? Actually looked it up after the episode to find out what really happened.
They had a model put on clothes similar to those she wore when she disappeared, then they just glued her head onto it. I don't know why they didn't use regular pictures of her in addition.
Otmarah Kortram It's really amazing the kind of planning actually goes in to just leaving and starting a new life. Especially if you're still using the same social number! I've heard of a few stories of people using the same social number and still weren't found for years and years. I mean to just leave your children your family that takes a lot of physical and mental practice.
EliBeanXoX Nobody said that isn't awful. Don't derail a conversation like that. We can talk about how disgusting it is that women leave their children without comparing that to men leaving their children. Two separate conversations.
So because some people are shitty parents it's OK for anybody to be? Because your dad is a piece of shit, nobody should mention this incubator (she is not a mother) is a piece of shit? Yea men do this shit way more than women do, but that's not what this video is about.. It's about people who disappeared and includes a piece of shit woman who abandoned her children.

I truly wish more of these thousands of strange disappearances all around the world would turn out to the missing persons being found alive and living a new life! Don't wanna judge here cause I don't know what they're really going through before in their lives? Not happy bout #1 leaving her kids behind with an abusive alcoholic. But one thing's for sure: These have been totally different times and circumstances for married women. - Men drinking heavily and brutally beating up their wifes regularly was much more usual and commonly accepted than nowadays; divorce also wasn't any good option back then. - Women were used to hide their injuries from the public eye out of pure shame and fear. They're even used to lie about the causes of severe wounds when they'd to be treated in hospitals... So I guess/feel she'd thought her sudden disappearance hopefully would change everything to any better outcome for her kids. (Idk tbh... maybe she'd planned to return after few weeks, who knows?)
Anita katzina0152 Kissmyass And something I find weird is some men that abuse their wives and are drunks actually never touch their children. My mom knew a couple of women through out the years who's husband's where abusive to them but would and never did lay a hand on the children and actually treated their children amazingly. Maybe it has to do with hatred of their wives and not their children? I wouldn't know I'm not trained to delve that deep but I always found it weird because you would assume that if someone is abusive to one person they would just be abusive all around but that isn't always the case?
Kayla Murray Yes and that's why even her own child from the first marriage nearly couldn't believe her the story about his domestic violence, abuse and alcohol fueld rage against her. Imho Linda should believe her though. Cause no woman runs away for absolutely no apparent reason and leaves her kids behind willingly. * Maybe he'd even threatened to kill her if she would've stayed/specially if she would've tried to take their common kids with her? * Maybe his love had turned into hate/he had fallen in love with another woman? Which would at least explain why he didn't report her missing for four years! Tbh, that's a really very long time imo. I assume she also doesn't wanna talk too much with her "child" about the horrors during her first marriage after that extremely long period of time. Cause instinctively she knows that Linda has made other, nearly contrary experiences with him. Also he's dead now and maybe her kid is missing him dearly. - So why telling too much? A lot of that story sounds like an agreement between the two adults to me. Or like the result of their very last fight before her disappearance. -> But that's just my own theory. Unfortunately I also don't know very much about the psychological backgrounds why a person abuses the own partner but not their common children. (I only tried to include some of my own experiences with an abusive alcoholic. - He was also nice to my cats and to children in general. But a terrible partner). Guess there're at least 3 categories of them... I'm currently still thinking about numerous experiences of girlfriends &co.
It's so strange how people can just forgive others after being treated so horrible,I guess they're stronger than I am.I don't think that I could forgive a parent after just leaving me and starting a new life.
Lucy left her children with an abusive father, seeking no contact with her children to make sure they were ok? Its one thing to disappear yourself, but its quite another to leave vulnerable children behind in a bad situation. Can't imagine not trying to have any contact with my children for the rest of my life. This goes on the list of bad moms.
Damn i feel bad for the one who lost his memory its like his family finding out he was alive ruined him should have left him alone he lost his job was his marriage was nolonger
Considering he had a tumor that cost him his eye, and he passed away from cancer, John Fritz Johnson might have also had something going on in his brain causing memory loss.
It's not illegal if other's deem you "missing", and it's not the person's choice that all those resources be used. Plus, it would be impossible to prove that the person had knowledge that they were labeled missing, and that the government was using resources to find them. It's morally inapt, but unlawful? Not in the slightest.
You often have no way of proving these people weren't fleeing for their lives. They often leave for their own good. Even when they don't, it's not unlawful as the first response states. You can't argue with fact.
It's right up there in line with Aaaaaa Kron," known to the rest of the United States as Akron (ack, as in hack). It really does boggle the mind how folks in this day and age can so badly botch common city names. It fascinates me and makes me sad at the same time. Details really do matter when it comes to presenting a professional and credible finished product. At least that's what we've tried to drill into our kids over the years anyway.
A woman abandons her children, all is forgiven; a man abandons his family then forgets his former life, he's hounded until the day he dies. The double standard is beyond unforgivable.
I see a lot of people in the comment section reacting to the first story. Saying that she was a selfish woman but you have to understand that women are JUST starting to get their rights. Women couldn't leave abusive marriages with their kids. Before this women were treated as property. They would not even mention divorce because that means she'll lose everything including her children. I don't agree with what happen but you have to understand the situation back then.
That doesn't change anything tbh. 52 years ???!!! She could have been got in touch with her kids or at least tried. She basically replaced them with other children.
White Women were the first to get their rights. Black Women just got their rights in 1964. Rights doesn't have anything to do with leaving your children with a drunk.
i say this as a person who barely remembers anything before roughly the age 19 to 21. yearbooks and other old photos are the only thing that helped me have vague memories.
I lost 2 years after a really bad head injury in 2011. In movies and soap operas it's this random thing that can just go away when the story demands it, but I don't think I'll ever get those memories back.
I don't remember much either, but I think I blocked most of mine. I was molested by my grandfather as a child, bullied relentlessly at school and mentally abused at home. If I hadn't blocked most of that crap out, I don't think I would have made it to adulthood. The problem is, the memory loss still happens in gaps. I can't remember half of what I've done as an adult either.
I've long wondered how many people chose to disappear after disasters like the Titanic and 9/11 because they knew they'd be assumed dead. Also: I have kind of always hoped that Agatha Christie's motivation was to frame her husband for her disappearance because he had cheated on her.
Faking my own death/disappearance is actually something I would do if I had a valid reason to. But thinking how devastated my mom would be if her daughter disappeared.... Heartbreaking.
It really peeves me off that people feel the need to fake their deaths when they could just as easily leave. Wasting the police and rescuers time and resources for literally no reason. Unless you are running from the mafia, there is no reason you can't just legally change your name, get a divorce and do all the same things you would have done anyway.
I fake my own disappearance whenever work calls me to pick up a shift.
Same
Aaron Damien fake death, better benefits
Aaron Damien 😂😂😂
Lmao!!!!!
Aaron Damien lol

Carbs Are Happiness it's actually not that easy. Back in the old days domestic violence wasn't often prosected due to it being legal
i think this better than commit suicide
for some reason I believe that the 3rd one, Fritz, was really that he may have hit his head and had amnesia , while very rare.......his brothers didn't even buy he remembered his previous life. .. .or he just wanted the insurance money.
but then why be so flamboyant if trying to hide.
You just walk away from your kids. Nice.
Men do it all the time
Charles Rohl parents do it all the time, gender doesn't really enter into it.
I mean hell, kids can get really annoying sometimes.
Supposedly he was a drunk and abusive. If she want to run away from him I get it. But if it was drunk and abusive why would you want to leave your children with that? Pretty messed up.
Coushatta LaRue I agree with u How pathectic of this mother!! I know she broke her childrens heart Very sad
No kidding..
The most intriguing one was Petra Pazsitka's disappearance. She was 24 y/o and in college, found 30 years later having never contacted anyone in her family during that time and said she never would. There must have been hella problems on that homefront.

Or she is a spy... And now retired, so she want her identity back.
MsYoanLetsoin
you watched too many movies
Or she was the black sheep and they were glad she was gone anyway. I have a brother who goes missing for years at a time, we don't look for him, he causes too many problems in the family
She probably joined a cult n has been brain washed
what a selfish mother. she didn't even look for her kids.
I agree but men do this all the time it doesn't make it right but men aren't so blamed.
Kaboom Feniz Men do this often. But difference is that men don't share a body with their child. When someone lives under your heart for months, you have an unbreakable bond.

Christy Teaster It dosen't fucking matter if men leave their kids often
@@harryg1926 😭😂
I always wondered what would happen if I disappeared. Crazy some people actually do it to start new lives while I'm here tryna start my first life lol
daniscool6 so true.
daniscool6 I thought the same...
Crime Crusader
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Crime Crusader right 😩😂
Mdr
She left her kids with an alcoholic father and started a new family somewhere else. Hmm🤔
Martine Davis Maybe she was afraid for her life but thought the kids would be okay cause he didn't hurt them
She's selfish.
Me after doing something embarrassing
Puck Rosez Lmaoooooo 😂😂😂😂😂
Puck Rosez lmao 😂😂😂😂
Puck Rosez like when I get drunk and make bad decisions 😂😂😂😂
Yinju’mlungu OUTAFRICA story of my life
puck rosez can I run away with you plz lol
I don't know if Lawrence belongs on this list. Did he actually fake his disappearance? Seems more like genuine brain damage or amnesia.
Another man tried to pull off the same exact thing... The disappearance was even done the same way... Cops proved he was lying. The guy is good. Get out of all your finncial and legal trouble right as shits about to hit the fan.... Yet have everyone feel bad for you haha
Jaye R I kinda agree with you. He sounds like he's in amnesia
Jaye R if he had a tumor that cost him his eye where was the tumor and could that have done anything to affect his memory?
I would sound genuine if not for the coincidence of his financial troubles
I have often thought of doing this, but these days it would be VERY hard with so many possibilities to be tracked down/found - internet, phones, social media ect. It was way easier to disappear back in the day.
There's an episode of "Criminal," a podcast, on this very topic and how you would hypothetically do it in this day and age. It's episode 61: "Vanish." I highly recommend it.
If you don't know how to do it properly, it can be very dangerous. There are resources on the net how to do it today, but I definitely wouldn't recommend pulling such a stunt. There are others, much nicer and smarter ways to change your life. To reinvent yourself.
For right amount of money you can disappear from the planet
Then you haven't thought about it seriously- even considering internet and phones as an issue proves you could never do it . If you truly wanted to recreate yourself you would have to say goodbye to most modern luxuries- but you're wrong,it's very possible
You have to go off the grid.
No 4 .... How can any mother WILLINGLY leave her children?
The world is full of shit moms.
MsRainbow Brite it happens
MsRainbow Brite But no one bats an eye at all the men who do it. That's pretty fucked up.
no one bat an eye to man who did it in this very video...people just hate women.
because the husband was abusive and wouldn't allow her to take the kids
I often think of pulling a stunt like this...
You kind of just fucked up by mentioning it.
Lilith well, don't, when reality sets in you will see how wrong it was
me too lol
Lilith I know a girl that has many times wanted to run away from her family but when she tried she realized that she loves her family and even if she did go she would not know where to go. she was cared for and not abused. be happy with your life. :):):):):)

No way. He was so full of shit his eyes were brown.
Is it just me or does Lawrence Bader look like Pee Wee Herman?
Ha ha ha
So selfish to abandon her children to an abusive husband/father to save herself. @BIGMONEYJEFFAFA lol? Why
Running away from your problems just leaves a bigger mess for those left behind. :(
Exactly
I like this guy, no introduction. Straight to the point and a modestly short video.
These people didn't "fake" their own disappearance. They actually disappeared.
Porfle Popnecker yea
They mean nobody made them disappear
A better title probably would’ve been “people who planned their own disappearance”
They didn't "actually" disappear. They just left a situation for another. They seemed to have disappeared to the people they used to spend time with / their families, but they were just somewhere else. So, yeah, they faked their disappearance. It looked to people as if they didn't exist anymore, but they actually did.
Heaven Wheeler but they didn’t just plan it they enacted it
I love my child too much to leave her. These people are heartless
I don't love my children, I keep them in cages when they're bad.
LaLa Knight shiiiid, but what that mouth do?
Golon Wes wow I'm imma call the police now baii
Man manly shut the fuck up
They are some disgusting men up here
Agatha was about to go gone girl on his ass!
Agatha Christie's husband was handsome.
Wow, out of all of these things I have watched (which is a lot) I never knew about Agatha Christie! Great list yet again!
UselessKnowledge1004 I didn't either!
There's a crazy Dr.Who episode based on it, worth watching.
I can understand wanting to leave everything and start over. If, like me, you're not terribly fond of your relatives and have little to nothing in common with them, and don't feel any real connection to them, it'd be easy to walk away.
EmileeArsenic
u should make yourself/ or the guy in the picture a fake tooth, it wouldn't take long, u can look it up on how to do it.
A $17,000 mortgage WTF!!! Most shocking part of this video 😱
That was in 1961 or 1962. It's equal to about 135,000 in today's money
Look at the year, It will make sense then, and was a lot of money for a house then..
Someone who doesn't understand inflation, WTF!!! Most shocking comment on this video.
We know what happened to Agatha, she got caught up in an adventure with the doctor.
Bla was looking for this reference in the comment section haha had to scroll down way to far for it ;)
I'm surprised there aren't more!
could the brain tumor be the reason for his forgetfulness?
archibald christie looks like kyle mclaughlan
If I can ever disappear and still live decently I'd totally freakin do it
Golon Wes me too
Please let me join you too
Ok!
I agree
Is it sad I first learned about Agatha Christie's disappearance during an episode of Doctor Who? Actually looked it up after the episode to find out what really happened.
saffie girl I learned of Agatha Christi’s disappearance from Doctor Who too.
What a selfish woman!! Leaving her 2 children behind with an abusive alcoholic!!!!
I would never leave my kids behind with an alcoholic man and not look back...i don't think that's PATHETIC.
Superb mate , no intro , no shitey voice acting or scripting and straight to the point.
A rare breed on TH-cam these days , you’ve earned a sub
Those Petra Pazsitka photos, though! What is with the odd Photoshop job? I just did a search and they all look like that. It adds to the creepiness.
Katie S I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that.
They had a model put on clothes similar to those she wore when she disappeared, then they just glued her head onto it. I don't know why they didn't use regular pictures of her in addition.
They haven't released her original picture. She had specifically asked that her identity not be made public.
Very interesting how the stories on this vid how they just left and started over, i often think of doing this.
Otmarah Kortram
It's really amazing the kind of planning actually goes in to just leaving and starting a new life. Especially if you're still using the same social number! I've heard of a few stories of people using the same social number and still weren't found for years and years. I mean to just leave your children your family that takes a lot of physical and mental practice.
Kayla Murray very true.
Otmarah Kortram I think it would be much harder these days with so much cctv & phones, Internet & things like that
Listen to Criminal podcast, episode 61. Talks about this.
Kayla Murray yes indeed once the kids are grown you think ok its possible but I still couldn't live with myself even when the kids are grown.
I miss the other old disappearance videos that used to be on this channel. :(
You're speaking to the choir my dude.
me too, i would love it if they ever got re-uploaded but it’s unlikely
What ever happened to those videos anyways?
Interesting bit about Agatha Christie. I didn't know that story!
People are saying how mother left her kids is wrong guess what men abandoned there kids all the time. my father did too.
EliBeanXoX Nobody said that isn't awful. Don't derail a conversation like that. We can talk about how disgusting it is that women leave their children without comparing that to men leaving their children. Two separate conversations.
EliBeanXoX fathers abandoning there kids is also terrible both is bad
Chloe Hagen EXACTLY
Jeff O RUDE
So because some people are shitty parents it's OK for anybody to be? Because your dad is a piece of shit, nobody should mention this incubator (she is not a mother) is a piece of shit? Yea men do this shit way more than women do, but that's not what this video is about.. It's about people who disappeared and includes a piece of shit woman who abandoned her children.
The third one happened in my town! Crazy. My mom probably remembers him.
Kelly Gregory I bet your mom remembers him.
Sorry, must have gotten it mixed up. Honest mistake. But nonetheless it's interesting to see that this event occurred in Omaha.
I like how this guy just starts the video with no
"Hey guys so today i will count down the.."
Found these fascinating! Hope you do more. 👍👍👍👍👍
Dude, I miss these cases vintage files used to do :( especially that creepy background music
Wow! I never knew that about Agatha Christie! Yet again, you've put together a great TH-cam video!!
Claire Mahony I had never heard that story either?
At one point it was a really famous story
Claire Mahony Same here. I assume she was just getting tired of her husband and fans of her bothering her thus changing her name to Nagatha Christie
Henry Robles yes, but a normal person would never do such disgusting thing. Only a psycho bitch or a mentally ill person.
GONE GIRL Movie must be inspired by this. I bet she had PMS when she decided to disappear and want the husband and mistress to be punished (yes, this is something normal that goes in woman head), but after think again, she remembered that she has a lot of money, and she could travel and meet another man who is not an asshole. Besides had to lie and do all those stupid revenge is a waste of time and money. Ain't nobody have time for that.
But that just me...
I always think about walking away and starting over
U cute
Dont have kids if you can just leave them like that.. smh what a fucked up thing to do.
Sonja Garcia if I disappeared I’d want my kids and husband
I enjoy your videos. Good Job!
What a bad mother how could she leave her kids for 52 years that's messed up
Maybe they were horrible brats. A lot of them are.
MissRandomwriter there aren't such thing as perfect kids and clearly she isn't the perfect mother, Indeed she is a bad mother.
Bad mothers. Hmm... there's a lot of them around too.
Bossmanrshy Tracy Peterson tried to take HER kids & run, and now she's missing...most likely dead. At least the bastard is behind bars.
dawnieangel76 LACI Peterson. And they found the Peterson womans body years ago. He is on death row now
I think Agatha Christie went into shock.
Roxee D something made he snap and she couldn't remember anything. It makes since. Like after a car accident some people can't remember what happened. It's a trauma issue.
Or had a breakdown
Vintage files is a good channel. Will have a million SUBSCRIBERS before long.
As a German, I find this cringy 3:11
Sometimes people just want to disappear. I've done it but not to these extents, only for a few months at a time.
don't use images that give away the content before you get to it.
start to the point video..YOU'RE THE REAL MVP 😄

Lol, I JUST commented something like that. 😂
Adore these videos !!!💖💕❤️

And something I find weird is some men that abuse their wives and are drunks actually never touch their children.

Yes and that's why even her own child from the first marriage nearly couldn't believe her the story about his domestic violence, abuse and alcohol fueld rage against her.
I love your videos! You deserve more subscribers
Thank you for the nightmare fuel, whilst I drift into a slumber.
AsapNicky Bars nightmare fuel?....
struck by a poetic moment perhaps
Lol
Yay Sunday upload
It's so strange how people can just forgive others after being treated so horrible,I guess they're stronger than I am.I don't think that I could forgive a parent after just leaving me and starting a new life.
Don't you know? Agatha Christie was with the Doctor :)
Gwen Bosworth nice to meet you, fellow Whovian.
THANK YOU!!!!
Don’t forget Donna and her ‘copyrights’
Most excellent!
Love this channel!!
I always find these people very interesting they must have been pushed to the edge to do such a thing.
Lucy left her children with an abusive father, seeking no contact with her children to make sure they were ok? Its one thing to disappear yourself, but its quite another to leave vulnerable children behind in a bad situation. Can't imagine not trying to have any contact with my children for the rest of my life. This goes on the list of bad moms.
bluedance lilly SHE is not a bad mom the father refused to let her take them
They should put Alison dilaurentis on this list #pll
Brendon!AtTheDisco 😂😂😂😂
Haha .True
Brendon!AtTheDisco omg YASSSSSSSS #pllfam
i just discovered your channel.very interesting.
Great video. I subbed.
Agatha met the Doctor and Donna Noble. 😁
Damn i feel bad for the one who lost his memory its like his family finding out he was alive ruined him should have left him alone he lost his job was his marriage was nolonger
Damn u cute
Considering he had a tumor that cost him his eye, and he passed away from cancer, John Fritz Johnson might have also had something going on in his brain causing memory loss.
This is hope about so many who are missing
There should be a fine impose to these kind of people due to the resources used to try to find them.
It's not illegal if other's deem you "missing", and it's not the person's choice that all those resources be used. Plus, it would be impossible to prove that the person had knowledge that they were labeled missing, and that the government was using resources to find them. It's morally inapt, but unlawful? Not in the slightest.
Areus White you are completely incorrect.
yes that kind of annoys me how selfish they are especially if they aren't in a messed up situation at home or in personal relationships.
You often have no way of proving these people weren't fleeing for their lives. They often leave for their own good. Even when they don't, it's not unlawful as the first response states. You can't argue with fact.
I ran away to save my life, I was never reported missing. But if I was and they found me? Should I pay for them endangering my life?
Sometimes I feel like faking my own disappearance, I'll start all over where no one knows who I am
Doosell Dwarf?? WHAT!!?!!
Düsseldorf
It's right up there in line with Aaaaaa Kron," known to the rest of the United States as Akron (ack, as in hack). It really does boggle the mind how folks in this day and age can so badly botch common city names. It fascinates me and makes me sad at the same time. Details really do matter when it comes to presenting a professional and credible finished product. At least that's what we've tried to drill into our kids over the years anyway.

A woman abandons her children, all is forgiven; a man abandons his family then forgets his former life, he's hounded until the day he dies. The double standard is beyond unforgivable.
“Over the years, Daniel died from drowning.”
Once you watch one, you can’t stop watching more!
Rights doesn't have anything to do with leaving your children with a drunk.
huff huffington I AGREE you are very smart!!!😀😀
Must been so hard to learn that one of your parent is gone willingly and has a whole new family and won't even try to look for you! So sad!
I liked the video after 2 seconds, just because he goes straight to the subject
0:06 26 years old? dang... i know it's mean but from that picture i would have guessed late 30s/early 40s.
We don't know if that picture shows her at age 26, it could be a random picture of her.
4:23 she lived with his wife *_*
Ermmm where’s Tupac in this vid 👀👀
amnesia is a bitch.
i say this as a person who barely remembers anything before roughly the age 19 to 21. yearbooks and other old photos are the only thing that helped me have vague memories.
Watching these videos at 1am gives me the creeps.
4:22 "she lived with his wife"?
Kyle Galang hahaha, it made me laugh, sometimes I made that kind of mistakes too, LOL.
Good one👍
I've long wondered how many people chose to disappear after disasters like the Titanic and 9/11 because they knew they'd be assumed dead.
Also: I have kind of always hoped that Agatha Christie's motivation was to frame her husband for her disappearance because he had cheated on her.
These are great
Yikes! Very sad to abandon your children!
Faking my own death/disappearance is actually something I would do if I had a valid reason to. But thinking how devastated my mom would be if her daughter disappeared.... Heartbreaking.
Wasn't there many more videos on this channel previously? What happened to them all? Also, can you confirm the exact audio track used here?
There was. I don't know what happened :(
Where is Allison Dilorentes?
john is from a different dimension **gasp**
The title is missleading.. those people disappeared for real an faked nothing...
They should make movies out of these stories!
1. tupac
I had expected Aimee Semple McPherson to have made the list.
It really peeves me off that people feel the need to fake their deaths when they could just as easily leave. Wasting the police and rescuers time and resources for literally no reason. Unless you are running from the mafia, there is no reason you can't just legally change your name, get a divorce and do all the same things you would have done anyway.
Why does Agatha look like Shia LaBeouf?
I could never disappear and leave my family behind. I love them so much
