- Hey everyone! Welcome to another video and today I'm back in Zeepkist to build another EVOLUTION track! This time...we are going FASTER and FASTER! Depending on how breaks and boosters are implemented, breaking a lot might have caused your unstable driving troubles you had lol
definitely, the physics are for the most part simulating reality, and the breaks are all or nothing
I think it would be more fun if the last track in the evolution was always "unbeatable" feeling, just in case your players find some way to beat it anyway, whether by skill or cheese. I think it opens up a lot more cool moments like what happened with the downhill slope evolution.

@@darealkosmo I am still waiting for you guys to just do a straight up pain theme, and then really going for that pain, if for no other reason to show people what you really can do, if you truely were going for pain. Maybe that would shut them up

Great fun! As I said in chat, the skill level increases between 150cc and 200cc was crazy! 150cc was all about finding line and know how and when to break. 200cc was all about holding breaks and praying to the zeepkist gods to keep you from yeeting yourself off the track 🤣
It is interesting. You all seem to have a problem as host on your own tracks but everyone else is fine. I could totally see there being something weird for hosts.
There would need to be some testing where you make stuff that's perfectly consistent in single player and make a bunch of people play it and see what happens

Btw on the 150 u don't need to agressivly brake it destroys your time and is just a waste

make a track that only works for the host using all the discrepancy you have found or heard of

What if you made a wide track, like say 2 track pieces wide. Then boosters thin enough to fit like 4 side by side, and each row of boosters has a different speed through out the course. So one line of boosters is at 50, the one next to it is at 100, then next to that is 150 and the final one being 200. I think it would make for some really weird lines through the course as people try to figure out where to be in the boosters for the most optimal time.

It would be cool if you made a map that sent the players into a multiple fans and each player takes different tracks each with their own challenging finishs

Have you ever asked yannic if this will be released to console? This would translate to console well! Like wheels
I bought zeepkist hoping to play.. unfortunately the game seems to lag. Like the map Is in frames.. which makes me feel sick. I tried to adjust the settings with no luck. My PC is pretty good also so I dont see why it acts like that.. google didn't help much either..so I just watch you all play and enjoy it.

huh, i would have hidden the bosters and make the last 5 or so boosters insanity speed, but only on the first slow track.
you dont have to brake at all with the 150 one thats how they're getting the 28
You have to prepare your car for ludicrous speed. You can't just go to ludicrous speed right away.

are you keyboard or joystick? Or does proportionate inputs not matter because in other peoples videos I see the inputs vary but yours is 'on' or 'off'

@@darealkosmo yeah that might be it then, when I was younger I just couldn't get to grips with the thumbsticks on the dual-shock controllers for playstation, so I sucked at steering in gran turismo, the full or nothing pretty much destroyed traction etc, whilst my brother who had big enough hands for the sticks was like 'eh why arent you getting this', and he was doing partial power or partial brake with partial steering, getting the proper turning in and out racing lines, particularly for the 'training' part of the sim.
If you've not got a controller for your PC, you can pick up a wired xbox 360-or-newer controller pretty cheaply that works out of the box with PC.
