Sad enough the only one that was vocal on the same issue is Hon Mark Gbila (the one that the Deputy Speaker Wase refused to listen to the petition he wanted to present from MUTA in America). The same Mark Gbila who was speaking the issues was denied ticket for re-election to the NASS by his PDP party. Thankfully, he's now in Labour party to contest for Senate. But can he beat Governor Ortom to the same ticket? I guess no! He could have vied for House of Reps again. Nevertheless, he'll clinch a good post after May 29 when Peter Obi would be sworn-in as our new President!
I think he has a fair point, the purpose of being in the national assembly or house of rep is to protect the interest of your constituency by speaking up or championing your people's interest. The governor should not be the only person speaking for the state.
