    Just bought these for my SFV4S based on your video, so thank you! My dealer managed to scrounge up some install instructions. The small rubber "bumpers" are supposed to stick to the backside of the duct, almost to the point they rest directly on the "ohlins" logo at the bottom of the forks. They basically ensure the carbon ducts arent contacting, or rattling against the fork bottom. Hope this helps. If you need a reference pic of the photo on instructions showing where to place the bumper, I can email them to you.🤷‍♂️

      @@Ducati_Grandpa Haha! No worries, Steve! I'm pretty sure you hinted to that possibly being the use for them in your video, but I just wanted to confirm it. 😄 Ducati likes to leave installation of some of their goodies to the imagination as you well know.🤣

    Curious of the duct will also collect debris, water or rocks? Def check them before each ride. They look like a racing part vs a street part.

      I had that same concern, so I do check them. However, there is a good sized gap between the outlet of the duct and the rotor….so things “shouldn’t” get stuck…🤷🏻‍♂️
      Thank you for watching!

    I was wondering about getting those and the process to install them on mine. Sound like a plan.

      As you can see, they’re VERY simple to install! You’ll love them!

    Did you use those round rubber that's come with the kit??

    • @Ducati_Grandpa
      @Ducati_Grandpa  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. They put too much stress on them. later I found out I was placing them at the wrong place and I’ve just never taken them off to put them back on.
      Thanks for watching!

    What is the link or model number for the Pit Bull single arm stand? Looks great!!!

    • @Ducati_Grandpa
      @Ducati_Grandpa  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Here’s the link to their website. You can search by brand and model…I ordered mine from a KTM dealer in Lafayette,IN. He gave me a little deal for ordering both the rear stand and trailer restraint at the same time.
      Thank you, I love the look too! Thank you for watching!

    Have you noticed how your brake disc is grinding?🧐
    I have such thick brake caliper spacers on my 08 YZF-R1 race bike and instead of a 310mm disc I have a 320mm disc.👍

    • @Ducati_Grandpa

      I haven’t had any grinding.
      Thanks for watching!

      I didn't mean literally sanding/grinding like with a file or sander.😅
      I meant brake disc wear. ✅
      I was wondering if the pad, in place touching the disc, it moved more to the outside of the disc.
      Thanks for the reply.

    Why did you choose this as your first mod to your bike? I see you have no other (visible) performance or carbon parts on your bike. Were your brakes fading or was it something else?

    • @Ducati_Grandpa
      @Ducati_Grandpa  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No brake issues…I’m not planning on doing many mods. I ordered the dual under tail Akra exhaust when I ordered my bike on March 8th and it’s still backordered, other than the exhaust and brake ducts, I only plan on doing the tail tidy (I just completed that one), red carbon DB Race mirrors, phone holder (just completed) and maybe battery cover but if I do it’ll be matte black. IMO, going carbon fiber crazy is the same as the Harley riders that just put as much chrome on their bike as possible. To each their own, I just don’t care for the look as much as the way it came from the manufacturer…and as fat as I am the weight savings with carbon fiber won’t do much anyway lol
      Thanks for watching!!

      I’m sorry, google translation wasn’t too clear…
      If you’re saying it’s better to use two hands on the torque wrench to not slip and hurt the bike, I’m not sure but I think the torque wrenches are more accurate when used with a single hand on the handle towards the end of the wrench.

    Sorry my friend , it’s a matter of taste but they do nothing to improve looks and nothing to cool your brakes,but it’s your bike .👍

      I agree…definitely a “love them” or “hate them.” I bet there aren’t many in between.
