- On Saturday Chelsea take part in the early kick off when we travel to the London Stadium to face West Ham.
Last time out Chelsea beat Bournemouth 1-0 courtesy of an Nkunku winner set up by Jadon Sancho who inspired after coming off the bench.
In this video I preview the match against West Ham as well as giving my preferred starting 11.

I'm not a football expert like most of the guys here, however I think it will be a good idea to use gusto's attacking threat to it's maximum impact, by using a possession formation of 3-2-4-1. This will enable Chelsea to have Palmer as a inverting winger/right sided play maker. I'm really sure this will cause disastrous effects to west ham defence.

Bro you nailed this starting lineup on the head. Couldn’t have picked a better starting lineup. I could see maybe Fofana at RB and Tosin at CB like the second half of Bournemouth game, then bring gusto in at half time.
But I think this is the perfect lineup to get both Nkunku AND Jackson in. Love it. With gusto at RB as well he can push forwards and give Palmer wing support. We will likely play a more traditional 4 back I’m guessing
I think the wingers and attack is decent but we really need to find the right balance in the midfield. I think we should invert Cucurella and use Tosin more.

Neto deserves at least 1 start on the right wing. Keep Palmer @ #10, Nkunku @ #9.. West Ham is a good team so it'll be a good examination of these players in the positions stated. Yes, Sancho gets the start with Felix as his sub
For me we need to Play nkunku false 9, Palmer as a 10 , sancho and madueke as a winger
The line-up you have come up with looks much more like a 4-4-2 rather than a 4-2-3-1, which could cause some problems for our defensive shape. That's why, I would've made Nkunku play up top, by putting either Felix or Palmer as a 10 and Palmer or Neto as a winger.

Defensively we have to improve, our work rate off the ball is not there and the defensive structure isn't there ,I don't know if we are pressing team or not because some other players are pressing and other are just jogging.
I don't see the bournemouth game being too bad considering the injuries we had to key areas. The right side of defence n centre midfield. Having disasi and also the caicedo and viega combo, both more industrious mids than mids with vision..which affected how we pass n move and get the ball up to our attacking players. No gusto, reece James, enzo, lavia, kdh, even carney would have fitted better. N we got 3 points vs a tricky team at home
If Gusto isn't ready, play Veiga on left, Cucurella on right. Front 4 will be Sancho and Madueke on wings, Jackson up front, Cole Palmer in the #10. Feel another smash and grab job 2-1 due to Nkunku, Felix and Neto coming off bench

That's exactly what I think as well, think noni will be a good option of the bench in this game

1.Playing both Palmer and Sancho in the wings basically means we can't counter attacker coz those guys ain't quick. That why we were so slow in the mancity game. Palmer needs an overlap everytime he plays wing
2. People are adamant nkunku is a 10 yet he performed when he was uptop.Why not just play him at false 9. He always loses the ball everytime he plays in midfield
3. Jackson should develop getting minutes off the bench, people don't wanna say it but he is one of the reasons we were poor last season.

This was a very disappointing fixture last season, losing 3-1 against an organised low block. I think West Ham will be a touch more aggressive this time, although I see the fixture as a good yardstick for how well the team and tactics are working.

Jackson is not a goal scorer his positioning is poor, finishing poor I like the lad but we can’t be an elite team with Jackson leading the strike and I think Nkuku deserves a start in place of Jackson

if we bag kudos and bowen we'll own the centre and keep a clean sheet. focus on the wings as they sit back and allow possession and push direct through the middle and SWITCH QUICKLY.

YOU PLAY YOUR BEST PLAYER IN HIS BEST POSITION to get the best outcome
Because Nkuku is as talented as Cole, but not as versatile. Cole can be effective anywhere, while Christo needs to be in front of the goal.
