@@LuisVelazquezLV3 you’re crazy. It won’t take much to beat Joe Milton out if he can’t be a lot better real fast and it seems like he’s isn’t going to be able to do that. If he’s still having the same problems overthrowing receivers and completely destroying plays that would’ve been a guaranteed TD or big play after 4 or 5 years then he isn’t going to get better
@@joshuawhite7515 yall just have a ton of faith in a kid who hasn't played a single down of CFB in this system. it's clear he has a shot to be the future, but other than playing in high school, i haven't seen anything that shows proof of 1. decision making, 2. super fast release, 3. precision accurate deep balls, 4. mental toughness. at least with Milton, I see three out of those four have improved this year so far.
I watched Nico’s film from high school alone… lightning fast release, good velocity on his throws, and naturally good decision-making skills. And he’s massive at 6’7/6’8… Put about 10-15 pounds of muscle and strength on him through the weight room while he redshirts this season and he’ll be ready to go in 2024. I’ve been a Tennessee fan since 2008 and have been a fan through the worst years of this program’s history, I finally now have hope that we’re going to conquer the mountain real soon. #GBO 🍊🍊🍊
You can see why Matthews was so highly rated..his foot speed and hips are elite. You can tell the difference between him and Conyer in the video. Conyer may be just as good but Matthews may just be that elite corner we’ve been looking for! Go Vols!
These are individual position drills. The media is only allowed to be at practice during these drills. Full speed 11 on 11 practice and full speed tackling is not going to be filmed because the media isn't allowed to be there.
