Thanks for weighing in! It’s a labor of love. So many more tasks to complete and you will have a front row seat by tuning in😁

I was very surprised you did all the suspension work including painting and cleaning it before having the body work done. I'm going through all the suspension now and your vids have been very helpful... can't wait to see Maggie when she's done, you'll have to let us know if you'll be at any BCNH or other local shows with her.

Thank you so much for watching the video and taking the time to comment. I was originally planning on just painting the exterior of the car, but saw so many cars with the engine bay done that looked amazing. So I have had a change of plans when it comes to the bodywork and the engine bay will now be done. As far as getting together with BCNH, check out episode #12. I plan on doing that this summer well before Maggie is completed!

I'm doing the same thing, all of the heavy, greasy jobs before the finesse work

@@stephennickles7389 thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. While I have worked in cars all my life, this is the first one that I am attempting to restore. I am learning as I go. In hindsight, I would have more clearly defined the level of restoration up front and sequenced things a bit differently. Case in point is that I have had an engine/transmission/OD that was rebuilt over a year ago (check out the engine rebuild episode) that hasn’t been installed back in the car. I have to oil and rotate it every couple of months to keep it lubed while not running. With that said, I LOVE this adventure!

Congratulations on 1000 subscribers to your interesting and informative channel. I would put the BL badges back onto Maggie, mostly because I like originality.

@@neilrogers8931 thank you so much for the kudos! It’s been a fun journey on TH-cam and in the garage as well. I agree with you as far as originality is concerned and will most likely put the BL badges back on. I’m just a sentimental guy at heart.

Are you allowed to remove the side repeater? This is more of a blight on the shape than the BL badge

@@darrenpalmer6073 interesting question. Wonder if it would pass the annual car inspection without it.
