What’s perhaps the most impressive about this is the tailor’s ability to hold a conversation, and keep maybe two dozen individual measurements in his head without writing them down.
This is a great video, it is something I've wanted to do for a while, and hope to do in the future! Saving up for 6 shirts is the problem, something always comes up, usually another Bond item!
Some of the other Turnbull & Asser Bond ties are being re-released, that is incredible news, I cannot wait! Also interested in the camp shirt that was mentioned as well, love to get my hands on one of those
Not exactly he was a behind the lines signal intelligence operator. In a unit called phantom intercepting german signals. Theirs more to suggest he did a bit more but he never spoke about it but we wont ever fully know what he did.
jamj59 The tailor didn’t actually measure anything cos’ he was talking the whole time. It’s like the waiter who doesn’t write anything down in Conan O Brien

Undoubtedly he has a small tape recorder hidden on his person!
The wall of collars is beautiful. This was a great video. The tailor has a very soothing comfortable demeanor. Very gentlemanly.
The tailor is such a nice guy. I've visited Turnbull & Asser in 2014, there were some very nice gentlemen as well.
I have happy tears to see Sean Connery (my favourite Bond) measurement at 19:50

Fantastic. The T&A employee is a credit to the company and his trade.

Great video. What a fantastic gentleman.
A fascinating look inside what is a fascinating establishment. I'll certainly have my own Turnbull and Asser shirts... one day when I can afford them!
Great video. A bespoke shirt at Turnbull & Asser. Perhaps the definitive Bond Experience

This was fun. Can't wait for the follow ups.
Thank for you have this Chanel, i love de James Bond movies.
David Niven was considered as the original Bond. I believe he turned it down. He was a British intel, and commando officer in WWII

Really good video.
Ah Yes ! I love their "James Bond cocktail cuff" shirts.
,
If I bought a tie would they show me around? M.
Well done guys
Great video Blair. Inimitably British.
Thank you, Sir! Just keeping the British End Up!
The one dislike is from Blofeld.
10:10 geek moment personafied.
What happened to David?
I will be back next week. Blair does an amazing job covering events and experienced as well!
David Zaritsky
Great! Yes, he does :)
You're too kind, gents!
He casually remembers 10 measurements and then writes them down.
His suit is so ill fitting its hard to look at
agreed, not what you'd expect from an actual tailor
kazfilmscompany i think it was dark when he got dressed also.

@@epicon6 He's not actually a tailor. He's just a store assistant who normally works in the non-bespoke shop.
@@classiccoke6360 But his appearance speaks volumes about the shop !
The suit looks like it was tailored by a five year old. Sorry
